I live in property owned by this company in Georgia. The manages of both apartment complex uses their position of authourity to abuse tenants. They are constantly threatening to write a lease violation or have you charged for a crime when in fact no crime has been committed. Mr. Hall please help the tenants in Georgia.

I am very upset with Hall Housing. They are arrogant & don't care about their tenants. They are discriminatory in their practices and very threatening. I live in Sylacauga in a USDA subsidized apartment complex that is full of toxic indoor mold. I have cultered it and have been sick for the five years I have resided here. They will do nothing. I am now seriously ill, and do not know what recourse I have. If there is anyone else experiencing these problems or if you know of an attorney that can help me, please advise. As far as Gary Hall doing anything...he either is not informed, or he is not the Chrisitian he purports to be. What is very sad, is these apartments look wonderful on the outside, but are toxic on the inside.

I moved out of Westchester Apt. July 23, 2010. I havent received my deposit of $300. back yet (CLEANED AND HAD A MANAGER WALK THROUGH & OK, BEFORE LEAVING)...now they are trying to get me to pay $900. for carpet, that was damaged, with cigarette burns, before I move in.(The tenant before me, was sick and sedated, and later died, that did this...even her family said she could have burned the apartment up...even burns in mattress.)The carpet has never been replaced, since 2000...yr. of construction. I have signed witnesses, to this fact. I will not pay, for such a lie, but will fight, and let USDA, BBB, ETC. know how Hall management is doing business and treating tenants. It's awful!!!!!! The worse renting experience I've ever had and still having. I obeyed all of the lease agreement...paid on time always...cleaned and kept up the apartment...put up with people and management...who did break the lease agreement. Lots of DRAMA! I feel sorry for the friends I left behind!!! contact me at ebrown4223@charter.net I have a lot more info., I lived through a nightmare! I knew Kathleen...her statement is true! STAY AWAY FROM WESTCHESTER APT. SYLACAUGA, AL. 10/11/10 I will let you know later, if I get my deposit back and if this will end up in small claims court. Paperwork is ready, for fight! Everyone knows this is not right!!!

PSA: STAY AWAY FROM HIGH GATE APTS IN GARDENDALE, AL!!! They are discriminatory and our children are basically in prison. Last month they sent out a notice stating that our children are NOT to be outside on the premises. The riding of bikes, skateboards, skates, etc., are strictly PROHIBITED. No bouncing of balls...not even outside. There are several children in this apartment complex and they're not allowed to be comfortable AT HOME. The managers are extremely rude. They come inside our apartments when we are away. And the water bill....that's another story!!! If I leave home before 8am and return after 6pm, how is that my water bill is almost $100.00? They're cheating us out of everything...including a warm environment to call home. We need help and I'm looking for a place to start. I refuse to continue to raise my babies here. Mr. Hall, I seriously suggest that you step in to make some changes or your company will be a thing of the past. If you have any info OR an equally disappointed neighbor, please contact me at cherokeelove82@Gmail.com.

do NOT move into austin pointe apartments in warner robins ga..this is an absolute nightmare! The living coditions are bad. they use cheap perimeter glue on the flooring which caused mildew under my floor in the kitchen. when i moved in the air conditioner didnt work due to it was missing a fuze. the left panel in my kitchen went out so my dishwasher or nothing that i plug into that side works. the toilet seats were broken. carpet work was done very cheaply. the manager is running her mouth about tenants business. most of whuich isnt even true. she is going around telling people she is going to give me sitations for things that never occurred and then when i mention it to her she jus stares at me with this blank look like she doesnt know what im talking about. her daughter who she refers for babysitting is a total drama queen and went around telling people my baby was hers and that i gave her my child.. which couldnt be the farthest thing from the truth. the manager has this daughter up in the office around paperwork with everyones personal info and apart keys. the daughter does not stay in this complex and has no business on the property. my mail has been getting played with too. i have a couple kids that have their dads last names but since they dont have my last name the mail man i guess decided not to put the mail in my box for them cuz the werent on "the list". from what ive heard the manager told him to do that.i also had my place broke into a month ago. the very next day got a threatening message from the managers daughter. the complex has failed to give me a emergency maintenance number still so couldnt report the breakin to them till days later after the weekend. been here for five months and it definately has been the worst renting experience ever!

I live in wellington place apartments outside of dothan alabama. Several of their managers have been very rude and unprofessional....when u ask for their supervisors number to report them they laugh arrogantly and give you a fake number. Tenants should be able to report complaints. Also, I went almost two weeks without a stove once and they didn't care. I have been having a problem with my water and lightbill being exceptionally high also. Hall housing has built new apartments and put money into them to keep them looking grade but seems most of the older complexes get undermaintained! When they did finally find out why my stove wouldn't work it was because a breaker in the fusebox had cught on fire and completely melted. The repairman even agreed that it was dangerous and the boxes are old nd need to be replaced!

I live in an apartment complex just built by Hall. We're having problems with scooters, bikes and skate boards. I walk with a cane. The kids are weaving in and out of cars in the parking lot, racing out of breezeways, knocked me on the ground (had to see a doctor), a child was bloody from the waist down from a scooter accident; there is no place for the kids to ride the above mentioned items in this place and be safe. They are banning them here and I agree. I don't intend to get run over again. Once was enough.

Taylor I agree with you about the manager at Highgate appartment. I am having problems with roaches! I have complained several times about them. The last time i talked to the manager she was extremely rude. She told me that she has done everything she can and that there is nothing more they can do.She also told me that I was the only one having a roach problem. This could'nt possibly be true because they want leave no matter what I put down.I have the number off the building which is 1-800-214-3939. If anyone have any suggestions please let me know.

I have lived at austin pointe apartments for 2 years but am finally moving out!!!! that place was good the first year but, the second year all hell broke loose. We needed a bigger apartment and we had to clean everything. Dead roaches were everywhere and still had problems with them after we moved in. Had to do own repairs because the maintance guy had two jobs and it would take him 3 or 6 months to finally get anything fixed. The linoleum floors in the kitchen and bathrooms were cheaply glued and not cut long enough. We told the landlord and she said that it shrinks due to the heat and wouldn't fix the problem. 13 cars were broken into, In one night, In the same complex. No security. If someone is playing loud music, you had to call the police because landlord will not do anything about it. There are alot of drugs in that place, Not safe for a family with kids. The playground is not as nice as it used to be. I take my kids to kimberly park to play and to a familys pool because the pool they have there is not well kept up because they have a cheap company that comes and cleans the pool and they also have a cheap pest control company that sprays the place. The a/c isn't very accurate so expect to pay more during the summer. I have tried contacting the company but no one answers the phone and I have left dozens of messages and get no return calls. I am happy that I don't live there any more and I would pay a little more just to have security and peace of mind. Good bye austin pointe and good luck

Didn't last long. Not only was I blamed for the problem and the other concerns I had, the lease "rules" were referred to "guidelines" here (by the manager and district manager). Once I find a new place to go, I won't be renting from this company again. I advise anyone else to run as well.

I did contact mr. Wackerle, I had lab values and matching documentation from my ENT. Nothing was done. The carpet scam happened to every resident who moved out. They tried the same thing on me. I lost all but 45 dollars on a 600 dollar deposit. These people should be prosecuted. What a shame that you have no recourse and no advocate. I cultured another apt. With the same problems. She died. Who cares? Imagine waking up to a snake in your apt. Happened to me and an elderly lady who lived across from my apt. Again, we were ridiculed. Lots of Mr. Hall's money has gone to political organizations, so good luck in reporting them!

I've lived at Hunters Ridge and had no problems whatsoever with the management. They have hard positions but they have always been the best of help in any matter that may arise....
