ems and patient care

I would just like to say that there is a deep concern about medical care and how long it takes.I was able to see things first hand last evening.A lady fell and had a possible broken hip. A call was made to 911 and the were told Middleville does not respond to them any more.Kuyahoora was called and responded which probably was about 25 minutes.Nothing against them but what concerns me is why can't 911 request Newport to respond for this call. I think that an agreement between the neighboring Fire departments should be made. The bigger concern is what if this person was having a bad heart attack. An agreement should be made sooner than later so 911 may respond help immediately.
