As being involved with a local organization I have to have my input. I have had more threats by board members and had board members show up at my dads to pound him by people from the town board it is pathetic. It is time to remove the ones running it because they are controlling Middleville also.I heard one worker for the town was not leaving without a fight. It is time for all board members to leave except Mr. Kaczerowski. We have some of the nastiest people who live in Middleville and Fairfield it is pathetic. This group pout to destroy Mr. Souza is the same clowns who try to destroy everything else including the fire department. Anyone who does'nt like me oh well.I have been around to long and know to much.My opinion is why would you put the same idiots back who have screwed you for years. The facts are there if you want to see how you got screwed. We are paying to much for our town employees as they do work for other people on town time.

I totally agree with you. I watched the video on WKTV of the last Board meeting and I was embarrassed. These people are out of control. Then Dillenback puts up signs saying "save our highway department". He forgot the line "so I can steal some more from the people of the town. The entire board and highway department needs to be out and it's time for new. We also need to get rid of the Village of Middleville. What do our taxes get us? Nothing. Oh, our sidewalks plowed and the Mayor's (what has he done for us) salary and the Village Clerk (who works bankers hours). I would rather plow my own than pay the Village taxes. It's time for a major change.

How come the sign Bill Dillenbeck puts out only mentions the highway dept. What about the rest of the town. Don't they want to do what is best for the town and not just for themselves? I too saw the clip of the meeting. It was disgusting. Their insurance is paid and they complain of an extra 250.00 per year. Well I have to pay 30% and have some high deductables. Way to go highway dept. only think of yourselfs. I aggree time for major changes.

I was a little undecided on who to vote for this election but after this past meeting on August 11, I think I made my decision. Bill D's posse was there in full force. Bill if you have a question you should open your own mouth instead of having Mark K. make himself and you look like fools. Mark you act and look smart sitting still but when you open that A**hole on your face you blow your cover. Then your bi***y wife opens her mouth and you lose twice.
Rich S. or Crofoot? I would have to go with Souza due to the fact that Crofoot's last year of service raised the taxes 16% for Billy-Boy.
Dennis K. because he stands up for the people of Fairfield.
Nancy R. because she has the best interests in mind for the people of Fairfield.
Denny M. and Ed B. need to take a hike due to the fact that they are in Billy's back pocket and they never blinked an eye when all that money went to the indians.
MaryAnn D. or Tara? I am going with Tara due to the fact that she knocked on my door and gave me her background and her goals besides, we need change.
If the highway dept. is complaining about insurance costs of $250 per year which equals about $20.88 per month, maybe they need to move into the town and start paying taxes. Right Bobby and Mueller?
That's who I'm voting for.

funny how people think they know what going on in fairfield when all they have done is listen to one side of the facts at hand. there are 2 sides to everything. these people need to learn to work together and run the town together not tear it apart with allegations. bill d is probably putting those signs up because he and the highway dept are under attack. wouldnt you defend yourself and your job and a position you have held for 33 years? i think so. funny how not until now have people had an issue with him and how things are run. why would you vote in nancy romer who has lived in fairfield all this time but never spoke up until now? why now does she have a voice? apparently the past years have not been too bad have they. it is sad that the board members were lax in their job duties and that randi matthews got away with stealing all this money from the town but by bringing in all new members and all new people to hold positions, you are still going to have issues i hate to tell you. and souza may have done some good things here so far, but he far from saved this town from all their money issues and downfalls. the jjtown can greatly thank alot of the relief to the windmills. and as far as all this crap over the $6700 for the fireworks and whatnot, why didnt the town combine the fireworks and all their events with the fun days. the fun days have gone on for 7 years, why not just add to the fun of that? and why do fireworks on a holiday that 90%of the town goes away on? 4th of july weekend is a holiday that alot go away for. it is sad that it all couldnt be combined for a huge fun day for all of the town. also, in the past, in order to get things done and passed in this town as well as others, the board discusses it many times. by the sounds of things, and the wktv video, these fireworks were only discussed one time like a year ago. how can the people be ok with paying for something they didnt know they agreed to? that is not fair at all. everyone should have to go thru all the same avenues as the rest to get things done.

yes there is two sides, however where was bill the last seven years when money was being taken. He wants it both ways, wants to run the town through his cronies on the board but, when things go wrong he just points the finger somewhere else. funny how that works. and what about the money mark kenney got over the years and never reported funny they forget that.

i am sure bill d has his own downfalls as well. however, was it his fault that over the last 7 years the money was taken? was he the only one there? and with everyone knowing everyone else and for so many years, why wouldnt he have people on the board he gets along with and who support him. why is that a bad thing? not that everything he has ever done has been right, im not saying that. but no one person can please all the people all the time. people have to learn that. why is everyone so quick to judge everyone else? and what money exactly did mark kenney get? and for how many years? was jeff roche part of this at all? because he did do the books for mark for some of the time. do people realize this? if it can be documented that mark got money, then i will believe it. but until then, it is all just hear say as far as im concerned. you gotta learn not to judge with out proof.

jeff roche resigned from his duties as treas. in 2006. If you want to know how much money Mark kenney got from the town just ask to see the vouchers that the the town board signed and then take a look at the one report he gave for money spent. You will be surpirsed. It is public record for anyone to see.

The entire board and highway department needs to go. Time for major changes. Mark Kenney needs to stop. Not impressed with him at all. The highway guys should stop complaining. There health insurance is paid in full. That is very rare now a days. If Bill Dillenback has been their for 33 years, it's time to step down. He won't have my vote.

i guess it will all come out if mark did indeed get money. but until then, i will wait it out and not judge till i have the facts. and what exactly does mark kenney need to stop doing? getting the community together and trying to keep something fun going?
and im not sure replacing everyone on the board and highway dept is going to solve all the problems of fairfield. you still have to get people to get along to get anything done. the highway guys only complained because they did cut their insurance, and that wasnt the issue, it was that they were not told anything about it. it wasnt until someone went to the doctors office that they found out. again, no communication between supervisor and board and highway dept. and you are correct, it is rare to find full coverage now days. but there are alot of jobs out there that get alot of benefits, including some healthcare, so why shouldnt out highway dept? have you been to fairfield in the middle of winter? they keep those roads as clean as possible and are out there when no one else wants to do it. why is it time to step down after 33 years? isnt experience a good thing? who are you voting for? a person who is lucky to even have a license?

Every year I get a paper in the mail that tells me the changes in my insurance. These people did too especially with blue cross blue shield. but being the babies that they are they cry. And how about b. haynes telling murphy that she chose her profession. If he was not bill's brother-in-law would he have the job? Also how come he is the only one that has a family plan and the other two can't. And he has the nerve to look down his nose at the murphy woman. Oh yea and he lives in herkimer and where does mueller live? Wake up people they want the best and give you back an attitude.

you think stating that deb murphy chose her profession was looking down at her? well the fact is..she did choose her profession. she was raised a dairy farmer, so she knew going in there was no insurance. there is none for my job either, im not complaining about it. i knew it going in, so what. it is what it is. and maybe they will get a letter in the mail as you say, maybe they hadn't gotten it yet or before they went to the doctors. ever think of that? and what does bob haynes being bills brother in law have to do with anything? bill is related to half the damn town, does that mean he cant hire anyone? bob does a good job and has gone thru alot and still works hard. bob does live in herkimer, one side of the road is herkimer and one is fairfield, where bill is. mueller lives in middleville, whats wrong with that? souza live in or right outside middleville, what is the difference?

Mueller lives in the Town of Newport and Mr Haynes Lives in the Town of East Herkimer.Legally you can not hire relation in New York State and you are not suppose to give it to any relation of a board member. It is tough two have so many gossipers and blowhards working for the town.If anyone knew all the things that happened in the last 33 years at the town they would be amazed.Remember there is always a shadow somewhere.whether we believe it or not. Karm must be at work and hopefully people use there head and get rid of people who are only looking out for there selves.

scrabble dabble is your head up your a**hole not looking down on her, her farm land, her milk, and her hard work is paying his wages, medical insurance, and putting food on his family's table. how come every town around us has a fairly new garage and town office building? As we have a 1 million dollar highway budget for 15 miles of TOWN ROADS. what the hell do the highway workers do for 40hrs a week on 15 miles of road? Crowfoot's road can only get stone once a year and that would only take a day. Misery road is still closed from May's rain storms, STILL CLOSED IN AUGUST. They have done nothing on Robbie's road well maybe mowed it which they rented a mower for a week to mow 7 miles. How about Bobby being out sick and still getting pay by the town and not disability. if you went to any of the meeting you will see what Mark needs to stop. You even say we all need to get along. How about last Oct. when Mark came in bitch loud about getting laid off from the town, how BILL took $10,000.00 FRA association to put towards signs an bitching about a holloween party then storms out of the meeting. The next day bill hires him back on the town and sucking bill's dick. So I'm telling you to come to the meetings so you can watch BILL'S posse and Bill make signs back and forth and then there Dennis Maxwell in there to. You get your insurance package in the mail right away so you have your insurance cards to go to the doctors with, Then don't have to pay the $250. deductable at the doctor's office you have to mail it to the insurance company so they new it had changed. How come Bobby or Mueller didn't ask about the insurance Mark did and he doesn't use it? TIME FOR YOU TO COME TO MEETINGS.

here here right on. Oh and by the way when their insurance was cancelled in november 09 how come the highway guys did not go to the meeting and call frank a crook. funny how that works maybe it was because of that private checking account for fun days. sorry mark I guess no one is supposed to know.
got all those reports on what you spent on fun days. Oh that's right you gave them to frank. Yeah right. be carefull I hear that someone is digging deep into the last several years and come Jan their will be a new DA who will want to make a name for herself.

Yes, Scrabble Dabble, I am voting for someone who is "LUCKY" to have a license. What does that have to do with anything! I am not basing my vote on someone's personal business but on his ability to do the job. Jamie is a successful businessman and he takes pride in his equipment and his property. He's very pleasant when you see him and he always says hello. If I was going to base my vote on someone's personal business, I still wouldn't vote for Bill D. Half his family hates his guts because of getting screwed over by him. If someone is going to screw over his family, what would he do to me, the taxpayer. Yes, he's been in office for 33 years but I am sure he's lined his pockets for those years like the rest of them did. The highway dept. do plow the roads all winter. Late at night and every weekend for sure when there isn't a bit of snow on the roads. They love the overtime. My wife and I comment on it every time they go by our house. And yes, Mark Kenney needs to stop running his mouth and making the town look like a joke. The town of Fairfield has a bad reputation because of the Matthew's and he doesn't help the cause. I went to the fun days. Not so fun. Watched the parade and left. Yes everyone should get along but I think the entire administration knows each other's little secrets and they are all worried if they get voted out the truth will come out so they are trying to make the others look bad. The truth will come out.

concerned citizen is correct on where they live. and as for hiring relatives, well lets just say that has not applied to things around our area for sometime now i guess. im not saying its right or wrong, just saying.
and its funny to me that i have live in the middleville fairfield area my whole life and now all of a sudden everyone is bitching about whats going on? where were all the allegations all along? where were the shadows then and why didnt they do anything then?
out with the old... i know how hard deb and bill murphy both work, i know them very well. and they both know that it was not him looking down at them, it was just simply stated that it was their choice. i was at the meeting too so i know what was said too. but the fact of the matter is, it was their choice to be farmers, and its not the towns fault she has to pay her own insurance. like i said before, i too have to pay my own. due to my choice in job. its life.
and i never said there couldnt be inprovements to the highway dept running things. i live on a shit road too. and have waited years to get pot holes fixed. and i believe one of marks griefs with getting laid off was the fact that the town does not have to pay his insurance, the military pays his insurance and to save more money like they were trying to do, they shouldve laid off someone who did get insurance. but last hired first hired probably applied there. either way, has nothing to do with me, so i could care less. i have been to the meeting and seen how he acts, i have also seen that alot of people get him going so he will speak for them and then they jsut sit back and let him take all the crap and argue it out.
what i see that goes on at the meetings is just sad. sad that all these people cannot get along and get so far off track that nothing at all gets settled. just yelling. then our community looks stupid.just seems to me if wrong doings have been going on for so long and everyone seems to think they knew it, why no one said anything. not saying anything makes you just as bad.

my point about jamie carney was not that he is a bad person, just saying, character does have alot to do with how i judge a person. not that i agree with everything bill d has done. i like and talk to both men. however, jamies recent events do have me wondering what kind of person he is. and lets face facts, he too has done shaddy things, both in his person and professional life.
and you are correct, they do plow the roads when there is no snow on them. i have said that too. but i also know from experience that although it may not be snowing and blowing at your house, it may be at mine. fairfield is a bitch of a place to live in the winter time. there have been many times when the road looks clear but the wind blows and i cannot see a thing. and i have to wait for the plow just to get home!
and you say you went to the fun days, but then you said you watched the parade and left. so really you didnt go. it was 2 days of fun. and it was fun if you like what they had. they do try to make it fun for all. ive been for years now and it is fun. and even if i didnt want to stay, i would go in and still support my community. all of it. and everyone.

I did go to the parade and paid $5.00 to look at old snowmobiles and left. I paid my $5.00 and support the community. I have to disagree with you regarding Jamie but you are entitled to your opinion and I am mine. Yes he liked to party and have a good time but I never saw him do that while he was working. Like I said, what he does in his personal life is none of my business. I agree that where I live can be clear and other areas could be blowing and bad. Why do they need to plow all the roads then? Just do the bad areas. No they would rather suck up the overtime. My opinion, everyone is nervous because this is the first election in a long time where there is some competition. Fairfield has a very tarnished image and it's time for change. I believe the board, the clerk, the highway superintendant and everyone else involved with the town knew things were going on in the past and did nothing about it or were part of it. That's just my opinion and my reasoning for voting the way I'm going to vote.
