I went to Berkley Peckham from 1956 to 1959 for 7th & 8th grades. My dad was in the Navy also. 7th grade home room was in the front of the old school house building and art and music was in the basament of that building. I lived a block from the reservoir and played on the ice in the winter.

I also was a Navy Brat. I lived at Windimere between first and 2nd beach. Most of my afternoons were spent with Mac Mcpherson's horses. Learned a great deal and have fond memories. Reconnected with Jaye McPherson just before she died. Other names I remember were Tina Shafer, Ellie Carter, Richie Suza, Frankie Monas.

Hi Judy. I went to Berkeley Peckham from 1957 to 1960 when I left to go to Boise, Idaho. M y dad was in the Navy also and we lived in Commodore Perry. I had a friend named Carol who had a sister Judy. Don't suppose that would be you?

Hey Michele, Yep I think that was me. Is your maiden name Bobert? Mine is Foster. I was just looking for classmates from the past. Send a message to me on facebook if you'd like. Judy Clark.

Hi! I've been trying to get info on old classmates at BP from the 1954-56 era. Does anyone remember Mr Berubee or Mr. Sufranco? How about Frankie Bothelo? I guess the old school is no more.

I went to Berkley Peckham Junior High in 1959. I was a Navy kid. We lived in Commodore Perry Village. My teacher was named Mr. Joseph Joseph or Joseph DeJoseph. Honest. I remember a fellow named Jimmy Dodd, who lived, I think, in The Anchorage Housing. He played clarinet. He and I sold Providence Journals aboard the destroyers at the Navy base. I remember a Commodore Perry Village neighbor named Bill O'Boyle. And down the street was a VERY pretty girl our age we called "Steve," short, I take it, for Stephanie. One of my classmates was a pretty blonde girl named Michelle.
