Who is "roboblogger"???

Is this an automatic news feed right into this
Middletown forum? Apparently it isn up, and if ask to
"learn more" aa Place called "Middletown News" asks for you email address to "sign up".

And if you want to see the full story, actually any details, you have to click on the link to Middletown Patch.

I have two questions:(1) Are Middletown Patch and Middletown News one entity or partner affiliations?
(2) Why is it they link only to topix and not Ledger won'other Middletown forums like NJO?(I say the StarLedger won't let em in...LOL)

Say, why bother puting in a story lead here and asking posters to comment here when the whole story isn't available to them? They why is this is probqably a paid sevice line that acts as a "hok" to bring readers to Da Patch!

To that I say no thank you but the lone distinct merit with "roboblogger" it will save us all from having 7vens bring this stories in from the patch!

Yup, if you scan through the history file here you'll see a square icon with "rotoblogger" the auto feed coming from Middletown Patch and it's associate....Middletown news.

Observation: Such posts seldom spark debate because the entire article is not provided. Too bad too, some of these updates would be of interest to readers but having to leave the site to read them is a PITA!

Wow, it looks like "roboblogger" has been de-activated in favor of story leads in place on the forum entry page for the Asbury Park Press and its "little Press AKA the Middletown Patch"! See example below. And the pisser is,they are not all relative to Middletown. Gotta luv the diversity, LOL!

Guess I'll start bringing in some Star Ledger and NJO article of interest to Middletowners and referring to this placeas NJO II!

Ah, the subtle differences. The lead page with the "hooks" to the AP Press and the Patch has the following tile: "Middletown NewsLocal news for Middletown, NJ continually updated from thousands of sources on the web." It then presents the Middletown threads that link you to Topix.

The Topix forum lead page reads:"Middletown Forum
Forums and message boards for Middletown, NJ."
