Do me a favor please. Call the MTPD to report the found dog. Then call the Monmouth County ASPCA to do the same. If you can take a picture of the dog and upload it to your computer, you can provide copies to both parties.

With a little luck, the owner will have already contacted both parties and the owner il be on his/her way ASAP to pick him/her up and express their thanks to you.

And I commend you on your ability to ignore all the bad stories about pit bulls and take this poor loving animal in as you did. They are actually wonderful and loving dogs and, if the owner is never found, I sicerely hope you choose to keep this Dog as your own because God does work in mysterios fashions. And remember, DOG is GOD spelled backwards!

Once you have a picture, call Home Vet Services in Belford and other vets in the area. With a missing ey it is highly likely a vet will have treated this dog in the past and treated him/her. And there is the chance the dog has a micro chip.

Good luck and keep us posted please!

I didn't want him to get injured our end up with the wrong person . Hopefully the pup will be home soon and the owner comes thru. I am def going to stay on top of it though.

There are many web based services that try to help pet owners recover their lost pets, including Facebook. Most have a free service for listing found pets. The Asbury Park Press used to offer a free classified ad for found items but I can't seem to locate it. Good luck returning One Eye to his owners.

Hello Jessie, was hoping to find some good news here about your locating the dogs owner. Anything positive turn up in that regard?

Generally speaking Jessie, a responsible and loving owner would have contacted every possible agency to find their missing dog by now. Tell me, other than the missing eye was the dog healthy and did it appear to be well fed and well treated? If not , the owner may have let the dog loose to fend for itself and that might just be the best news for the dog because he/she found you! In fact, you both might be lucky you found one another...LOL!

Pls post an update here every 2/3 days please. I'm a big time dog lover and pit bull owner and just a pushover for stories like this.

Good luck, Jessie!

Hi
Thanks for your concern. I have called every vet in the area and they had no records of treating the dog. They took info in case the owner calls looking for the dog.unfortunately no one has claimed him yet.He seems very healthy he's a normal weight and such. Friendly as well .i too am indeed a dog lover and I will do all that I can to return him to the owner.I wouldn't be surprised if he was left to fend for himself,It's absolutely appalling how people treat animals these days. Let's hope for the best u never know . Thank perfect time to thank god that my dog is microchipped god forbid anything ever happen where he got lost id be beside myself! Lol

So Jessie, is there a happy ending to this story that you can share with us?

Yeah, the prior post was me. I used the prior ID one time to have fun with the wacko poster here that likes to irritate folks here and elsewhere.

Hmmm.

One time?

Oscar Wild has posted on this forum more than once.

Or was Jessie just a fabrication of this guys imagination?

You know, like the twisted nurse who gives the patient the wrong meds so that they can be a hero and save the patient from death at the last moment?

Did Dastraw invent the lost dog and Jessie so that he could look like a concerned neighbor instead of a guy who changes names just to annoy people?

More appropriately, "da real a-hole"! Here is your idiotic reaction that you chose to post over on NJO but not here and I've included my response as well for the readers here to learn what they need to know about you and your tiresome act.

YOURS: 36357.1. There is no flaw on that forum.

You are the one who is flawed.

Alright straw, you want to be just like joebish and post using my name over on the Topix forum?

You really don't care what people think about you as long as you can annoy someone?

Well it's all yours straw. There is nothing I can do about it. Anyone can post with any name they want over there. You don't even have to log in, just post away with my name.Mission accomplished.

You win, I am not going to post on a forum where someone is such an a-hole that they are going to post using my name.

That is why I will be posting here:

http://www.ahherald.com/forum/

Because a-holes like you are banned.

Enjoy the Topix forum straw, nice work.

MINE: 36357.1.1. You are indeed "da village idiot"!

You have taken an innocent post and blown it out of proportion, lad!

I posted as "Oscar Wild" one time , admitted it and you stated "Oscar Wild has posted here (Topix) more than once" meaning I was FOS! Having already stated my case and knowing arguing with you is just not worth it (aka ZZZZZZZZZZ), I decided to make my point using your ID. That point being, anybody and everybody can post using the same ID on Topix, including your's and Oscar's.

Now if your gross misinterpretation of my motive in using your ID gets you not to post on Topix any longer, lucky me....it was not my intent just dumb luck I guess. Yet I'll believe it when I see it, your word holds you accountable to nothing as evidenced by your 101 unkept promises never to post here (NJO) again.

Like I've said before, I can only claim that you are a fool but it is you who can prove me right! Good job, mate.

I notice too 7vens that since I caught you using multiple IDs with your Beach Haven registration, something you did not admit, you've now changed it to the United States.

Good job of closing the barn door after you let the horse out! LOL!
