Currently Young Life, a youth outreach program, designed to give high school students consistent adult role models, and safe places to hang out, is in search of location to hold club. Club is a once-a-week event for students to come hangout with their leaders in a safe environment. Last year Young Life club had an average of 95 students from Eastern coming every week. I feel as though this is something adults of the community need to stand behind and support. Kids today have very few things in their lives that are consistent. Through YoungLife kids have leaders that invest and believe in them, and they are encouraged to commit to being part of a community of students, thus they are not just driving around casuing trouble in the Middletown area.
