The Middletown P.D. is the weakest I've ever seen. I live there, and the crime rate is out of control! He probably "dared" to speak up and say so. My home and cars have been robbed and vandalized more than once. Yet they can't catch the person responsible? Come on!

I grew up in Middletown...back in the days when Fred Glad was our beloved marshall and our only police officer. His butterscotch colored car was liable to turn up anywhere at any time. That was when the whole town worked together to solve crimes...before they got out of hand. Neighbors were aware of their surroundings and knew who was where, doing what. No one was afraid to speak up then...it was expected. Now there's an entire force in a nice building with updated equipment, but nothing takes the place of the eyes and ears of the community. Speak up without fear for what is right.
