New juvenile center for girls planned in Bridgeport

Gov. M. Jodi Rell today announced today $15 million in bond funds for the design and construction of a secure juvenile treatment center for girls is expected to be approved when the State Bond Commission meets October 30.

I must remember to put a line in when I want to sell my house--"Detention Center within walking distance"! Rep Musto,(D-Trumbull) you are so supportive of this, how about we move this Center up the road a mile or two to say Daniels Farm Road? When will the State (and others) stop pissing on Bridgeport? We finally got rid of that ghetto ass nightclub on E.Main St(Sixx), and now this.If the reason for this is to make it accessible to families in Waterbury and New Haven,(close to Rt 8 and bus lines) why not put it in ohhhh, Meriden?

When are we going to stop pissing on BridgePIT ? When you remove the corrupt politicians and the filth that lives there take care of their homes. Have you noticed ? Minorities moving into neighborhoods= that neighborhood turning into a gutter. Look at whats happened to the North End. Why cant these pigs act in an orderly fashion and clean up there dwellings ?
