Our prayers are with Dr. Berk and his family. The curve he encountered is a very dangerous one, it makes virtually a 90 degree turn! Last winter, a Middlesex sand truck overturned and spilled its load on that very same curve. Maybe it is banked wrong. Locally it's called the "S" curve and is a blind corner as well. The speed limit is 10 mph but most people don't realize the danger. Maybe additional posting is needed.

"batman", what a cruel, stupid thing to post- what on earth is wrong with you- are you this outrageous when you talk to people face-to-face?????????

It's a good thing he was wearing a helmet.
But another thing, bicyclists should obey speed limits too. It's 10 mph on that curve for a reason. And a bicycle can easily reach speeds in excess of 10 mph.
