I understand Terri, I loved Brooke and I'm proud of you. Please don't take this as a rude comment. I'm just curious to know. Why are you doing something now? The death of the wonderful, bright spirit Brooke was three years ago. Why now try to get justice? And once more I state I love your family and I love Brooke, this comment is completely out of curiosity.

I totally understand your question. It is because we were told all this time that there would be a court date and charges from Brooke's death but that the civil suit had to be took care of first. Now all of a sudden the story is that no there was never an intent to do anything. That is why I am so upset. we were lied to by the officials in Bell county and it's just been stall tactics as far as I'm concerned.

I pray to god you get the justice your family so deeply deserves. Please ignore all of these comments from people who probably just get a kick out of putting people through hell. They have no right saying the things they are saying. God will give them what they deserve, just as he will help you through this. Their opinions on the subject of YOUR DAUGHTER are meaningless. It has been the years for one reason only. We
were told that it could take this long to have these charges filed. Come to find out that it was all just lies. My mistake was having faith in the judicial system and thinking the officials would do their jobs. I was told that my daughters death would be investigated and prosecution would come of it but all I got was this. The investigation is not closed, I do know that much but Neil Ward has refused to do anything about it even without seeing the officer over the case or the case file. That is why now.

you have my support and my families support. You should try to get this out in the media to gain a larger support group. I think it's crazy how someone driving 15 miles over the speed limit gets a speeding ticked and possible jail time, but someone going 50 plus miles over and kills another human being, gets nothing! it makes no sense.

I sure hope that the real victim in this unfortunate tragedy isn't looking down on all this tomfoolery, it would probably sadden her greatly. Tammy &Condy are good people & loved that little girl! Most of the posts on here are from people who don't even know the family or the beautiful young lady who died as a result of another's negligence! They don't want to RUIN Ashley's life, they want her to be held responsible! Ask yourself this...knowing what you know about "just being a teenager" at 80 mph....would you let your child in the car with her????I sure as hell wouldn't because she has been taught no respect for the value of a human life! She does as she pleases because she knows she can get away with it! Money talks & bs walks! No one has mentioned the fact straight out that at least ashley still HAS A LIFE! HER PARENTS GET TO TALK TO HER EVERYDAY....NOT TO A TOMBSTONE! keep judging & persecuting the Lamberts & see what shoes God gives you to walk in! Practice what u preach. Nobody is innocent. Nobody knows what anyone in the car said. Its called teenagers are still children. Kids dont listen to parents all the time at that age. Your JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED, applies to everyone including the lamberts. Unfortunately nothing that can or will be done is not going to change the fact that a child is forever GONE. U say dont judge the lamberts but yet its ok for u to judge the driver of the car. Yes she made a life impacting mistake. Whoever failed to follow up on the case. More than likely the officer who had the accident is at fault just the same but no-one is downing him or his family.
