Will they put Bell County back on the schedule? I think this matchup is very important to the people of the community, and good for the students.

I never fully understood why M'boro decided to eliminate Bell from it's schedule in the first place. Not a good show of sportsmanship on their behalf.

Thoughts?

They quit putting Bell on the schedule because of their lack of sportsmanship. The way that the Middlesboro players were treated by the staff of Bell High they wouldnt even open the locker rooms for our boys when we were there last. When Middlesboro had home field advantage we showed them hospitality and they DID NOT return the favor. Thats why Coach Roark stopped the games.

Hmm... I thought it was because Bell had been beating them so badly over the recent years.

This is very true. Jeff Saylor was so rude to Kenny and the players it was unbelievable. However, that would have made me want to play them even more and even harder. I would have never stopped the Middlesboro/Bell games even if we got beat a thousand points. If you ask me, the best decision Middlesboro ever made was to get rid of Kenny Roark and his staff, especially Petie Gilbert. Worthless as a cop and an assistant coach. the only one that I would think would be worth keeping is David Kelly and bring back Vic Adams.

m'boro is a bunch of pu$$y's , and everybody knows it, what a joke , i cant beleive they dont play bell anymore, when i went to school in the late 90's ,that was the only game that counted, you could lose every game on the schedule as long as you beat bell, that was the whole season!!!!!!!!

Losing had nothing to do with it. Every year Middlesboro schedules tough games they have no chance of winning. What difference does it make who you lose to?
there are too many thugs up there at Bell High.

If the person gets this job who I think will, then you can expect Bell to be on the schedule ASAP. Give them 2 winters in the weight room with this guy and we will get our rivalry back.

The real reason Kenny stopped scheduling Bell County is simple. DUDLEY HILTON. The man is a butt with a capitol B and that's being polite. Kenny would have been more than happy to reschedule Bell when Dudley left.

Why can everyone not see the real reason for Kenny dropping Bell was to protect his little boy. When I played for Bell it was the Middlesboro people who were rude. The best thing I ever did was leave that dirty little town.
Middlesboro may still be up in the sreies but no fan can can say that in the past 20 years that Bell hasn't dominate the series.
Kenny was scared and tired of getting beat all of the time.
Both Middlesboro and Bell fans need to encourge the new coach to get this series started again. This series is good for the entire area. Does everyone remember how the stands were always full and how much fun the week leading up to the game was?
As I said I do not live there anymore (Thank God!!!)but if the schools would get the series going again, I might just have to make a trip back to the Bobcat Hilton!!!
