Thank God for these Drug Bust. More scum off the streets. GREAT JOB MPD! Keep locking them up.
and next start going after the darn docs that write their scripts so irrisponsibly that these people become addicted to in the first place. When the surveyers for the hospitals and nursing homes and pain gurus started telling nurses and docs that a patients pain is what they say it is....addiction started sky rocketing young old and inbetween. I guess they never learned how to assess a situation using objective and subjective information....or dont know the meaning of the word incongruent........thank you very much bleeding hearts.

Though as I have said before it is an indevidual choice to use drugs prescribed or otherwise in a way that they should not be used. Just because you take something prescribed by a doctor and the they way they are prescribed doesnt make you any better than the guy buying it on the corner. What to start resolving the drug problem start with the Docs at the VA medical centers first......

Well yes it is good the pushers were arrested, however the credit cannot completely go to the MPD, Most of the credit would have to go to one of the pushers who got arrested and than took plea bargain to themselves lesser or no time. That is usually how it works, right?
Anyway congratulations on all the arrest!

Poverty is the main cause, drugs for one reason or another has alwasys influenced American cultures. If you hate drugs and all they have ever done you will probably need to stop listening to some of your favorite music, stop watching some of your favorite movies and stop reading some of the greatest literature. What seperates these druggies from those of the 50's and 60's? You are all ignorant hillbillies, go back to watching the Andy Griffth show.

If you all weren't doing drugs and dealing them, you all wouldn't have to worry about who is a rat, so grow up, take care of your kids, get off welfare, and deal with it!! We all have to, what makes your a**es any better?? Some people are such low lifes, and that's all they will ever be!!

For all you druggies out there - you better watch your a**e* because MPD isn't done yet. We happen to have heard that there is 12 more drug indictments they are getting ready to serve again on 9/18. If you are smart, you will quit doing those drugs and selling them. Do it for yourself, your children, your parents, brothers, sisters, etc.....when you end up in jail, you are only making things harder on your husband, wife, mother, father, kids because THEY are the ones worrying about how they are going to come up with the money to get you out of there. And these poor children out here don't understand what's going on, quit ruining your lives!!!

This is nothing new people, they do this ever so often to get the heat off Bell Co. Soon as the state backs off, Bell county will be back to the same ol' shit. I lived there for 25 years off and on. It will never change I know the routine. And I don't blame nobody but the city, theres nothing there no jobs and nothing to do. Middlesboro is nothing but a big hole in the ground and the best thing to do is get out of the hole! It's the best thing I ever did! Good Luck

You are incredibly ignorant and worthless. I have never "popped" a pill or smoked and do not "act" all high and "mighty" (there is the spelling lesson for the day). Since I work,(unlike you I am sure) I have to pay taxes to support you and your deadbeat family, not to mention the jail expenses your mother is taking up which is also an example of tax dollars wasted. Stop defending dangerous behavior and just ask yourself a simple question. Am I happy with the pityful excuse for a life that I am living?
Thank you and have a good day, I hope you find meaning in your life besides killing yourself and defending the vile actions of others.
..amen to that handsome man..

I wouldn't be so sure about this if I were you. People have been complaining a long, long time about drug use. It takes quite some time to build a case and it could be that the law enforcement people have finally got all their T's crossed and all the I's dotted. Best thing a person can do is stop useing, stop selling and quit supplying the ones who sell the dope.

I have lived in Bell County all my life. My family was destroyed by a person who introduced one of my parents to cocaine. This person too was a local. This person didn't do this to raise their family. They did it to support their habit. I think that all the drug dealers and users alike should be picked up and it made mandatory that they go to rehab until they are clean. Do we really want to grow our children up around this kind of stuff? You have to remember that one day they will be the ones taking care of you. Do you honestly want a drug addict or pot smoker or alcoholic taking care of you in your old age. Yes, it was good that these people were picked up and actions were taken to keep them away from the general public. No, Brandy Cooper should not have "ratted" on anyone but she did and it helped get these people up. I do not think that jail is what they need though. They need help. That would be like a kid acting out because they have to use the bathroom but instead of putting them in a bathroom, you put them in a bedroom. Doesn't make sense to me but yet this is how our system works. These people although should see their problem and take steps in the right direction to become better than they are. I just thank God that I have never done any of these things but I do know what the hurt feels like from the other side.
