Dave Nuss is an excellent pilot, fully FAA licensed as a glider instructor, and has had thousands of hours in motorized planes and gliders. Knowing him well, I know he made the best of a bad situation of being released from the tow plane long before there was sufficient altitude for a safe return to the airport.
We will pray for his and his passenger's complete recovery.
Readers please take not the glider is NOT an ultralight, it is a fully FAA certified aircraft.

I also know Dave, his wife Mandy and their children. I am very concerned for him and the young student. This family has been through tremendous stress over the past few years and will keep them all in my prayers.

I just can't believe that happened to Victoria. I know her in person, it's so hard to see a best friend of mine in an accident. I'll keep her and her family in my prayers. I heard from recent people that Dave is a good pilot and he'll also be in my prayers.

I know the family and were shocked at the news. When I first heard the news on TV I noticed the name sounded familiar. Then we ran into the grandmother and heard the horrible news. We are praying for the family. The daughter has a fractured leg-it broke right below the knee and a twisted ankle. I hope they are doing alright!

I know it's sad, she had surgery last night and it went okay. Her father sent me a picture to my cell phone, but I couldn't recieve it; cause I don't have picture messaging anymore. But I'll keep you both updated! She's my best friend since she came home and I've been always there for her. But I will keep you both updated. I don't know anything about David yet, so if anyone finds out, especially you Bobbi, you should let us know!

Vicky's bfffl(: ♥

Thank You All. Your kind support makes it easier for our little Sports-Lady. The pilots did a great job under the circumstances. To many flying seems like a scarry proposition, we know. And it is true, it has it's own risk. Other dynamic sports, like downhill skiing, football, ice-hokey, etc... is hardly different in that regard. Humanity is an adventorus kind. Please all of you addore life, and continue to live it to the fullest, and take only risk that is in perfect ballance with the joy it is returning. Sincerely, the Family
