Why not have a farmers market in the wasted space behind the cour house on faifield avenue. Farmers markets are all over NYC. The mayor of Bridgeport should hire some people with imagination and think of creative ideas to get people to come to downtown Bridgeport. Fresh fruits, vegetables and plants is an excellent way to do so.
