Palin is wrong for VP, wrong for America and shows poor McCain judgment.

Remember, she's the VEEP, and she at least DOES have a record. So examine away. And comparing her situation in Alaska to CT is like apples and oranges, they're flush with oil money, and it's a completely different situation, besides, how would she be able to do ANYTHING about your property taxes or sales taxes in CT? That's got nothing to do with the VP slot.

Palin is a modern American success story. She's a PTA lady who came out of nowhere fought the big boys and won!

Deep down some folks can't stand her because she's a woman.

Last night's interview with Charlie Gibson demonstrated for all to see that she is completely incompetent and unprepared for the job. The Bush Doctrine question and the fact that she didn't even know what it was will bury her. She is the wrong choice and her selection was a mistake for the GOP.

Face it! The Dems are scared; they are going to lose. Palin has a great record; argue about all you want but she has an 86% approval rating in Alaska where she was Governor and previously a town mayor. Obama was a community organizer and a senator who camaigned rather than originated any bills. He is a turkey! he is going to expand government and tax the people to pay for it.

The fact that 90 percent of the political talk these days is about Palin shows that adding her to the ticket has already accomplished what the RNC wanted.

You're all saps playing right into their hands.

I love the fact that the Dems have to look at Palin's record! It only helps illustrate that she has actual executive experience while Obama has none. It reinforces the fact that Obama has accomplished NOTHING in his “career” and is totally unqualified to be president. The number two on the Republican ticket is more qualified to be president than the number one on the Democrat ticket!

Well, that was the same thing with Hillary. Folks couldn't stand her cuz she is a strong, intelligent, competent woman with a lot of political history. I think Palin should put more focus on being the hockey mom that she is and focus on her child with special needs and her other children. I was going to vote for McCain but not anymore.

I LOVE the fact that YOU won't acknowledge your "record" of previous posts made under the name THE MEMPHIS KID. Perhaps its because you were one of the IDIOTS claiming Rudy would be our next president, barely a year ago?

If the Republicans told you that humping a goat would defeat a Democrat, no questions asked...you'd be the first sap dutifully out in the barn with a bucket of oats and a barry white CD.

Obama can only reference his "community organizer" work. His title is Senator, but in his 143 days in the Senate he has no record of accomplishment. There is talk that the Dems are sneaking thru a bill Obama dreamed up -- an end world poverty bill. The price tag to the American taxpayer is estimated at 30 Billion dollars over ten years if this bill is forced through to show that Obama has a "record of accomplishment" in the Senate. Now that legislation would bankrupt the U.S. economy alone before he ever got his hands around a Federal Health Care System that would also bankrupt the U.S. Obama is a disastor waiting to happen. If Obama becomes President and has a Democractic majority in the House and Senate there would nothing in the way of the Far Left Dems to plunge us into another great depression make us into the image of a weak and timid European nation. Wouldn't the terrorists love that!

No I can't stand her because she has no clue what she's talking about. Did you watch her interview? She's way out of her league. She's got teleprompter stage craft, but so do I. That doesn't mean I'm qualified to be VP or, God forbid, President. It just goes to show how lost in the woods conservatives are that they would flock to this woman to save their campaign. Then again, you guys think Reagan was the almighty so...

Just wait and watch. The McCain campaign will eventually lose control of the media cycle with Palin. It's already beginning to happen.

During the RNC, they did spell nuclear phonetically for her on the teleprompter so she wouldn't sound as dumb as Bush. Without the teleprompter during the Gibson interview what came out of her mouth was "nuke-la-lar". Oh she is so ready.

I don't know how many times she said "gonna" and "gotta" in last night's interview but it was a noticable number of times.

I agree with you. Then Hillary and Bill will ramp up their public appearances in support of Obama and Sarah Palin will be left in the corner wondering what just hit her.

If Hillary and Bill "ramp up" their performances, it's to agian school the lunatic-left primary voters what kind of ignoramouses they are for picking the pre-pubescent Obama over Hillary, the same way the loonies in CT chose Lamont over Lieberman and were summarily trounced by the rational people even in CT when they voted for Lieberman over the lunatic--Fringe moveon.org installed moron Lamont.

So, where is Loyd Bentsen in the annals of history?("I knew Jack Kennedy") No where!

Tomatoe, Tomatoe, Potatoe, Potatoe, let's call the whole thing off!

Quayle won, and Dukakis/Bentsen - the Dem braintrust redux were as unappealing to the masses the same way as these drivel-mouths Obama/Biden will be this go-'round.
