No family is immune from the devastation inflicted on it from drugs. We don't know what happened to this young man, but prayers go to him, the Largay and Rowland families. This has nothing to do with politics.

At a time when Ryan is in critical condition because of a medical emergency, you choose to go negative in bringing up the past with minor charges?
VERY BAD TASTE AP.

Stick to the story, and hope he gets better, A-hole liberal AP.

hey pwilson, back off!
It does look like drugs. Let us all be reminded once again of the devastation caused by drugs. You can't play around!

BTW, I got you beat on detesting liberals.

..and I've got you both beat in detesting Repugs. "The danger of conservatism is not that it is resistant to change. The danger of conservatism is that is resistant to the IDEA of change."

I'm sure the hospitals are treating several other people in the same predicament. If this kid wasn't the ex-governor's stepson, this incident would have not made the news.
Did someone say this was not about politics?

The difference here fog head, is that the AP does not know what happened to him so it's not the time to bring up past a drug arrest.

"Largay had been charged in 2003 with possession of marijuana at a party held at a friend's house in Newington.

He faced similar possession and threatening charges in May 2007 and was placed into an accelerated rehabilitation program, a form of probation."

Usually when the media doesn't know the cause, they dig up the past purposely. It's called selling newspapers. That's regardless if it has anything to do with the current situation. It happens all the time in politics.

Better to remain silent and be thought of as stupid than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.
