That's what happens when you live life in the fast lane. Such a shame when it happens to a young person.

Now that everyone is on the same page with this issue, let's have sympathy when a story comes out for someone in Bridgeport even when you don't know the whole situation. With that being said, my condolenses go out to the family of this man.

Whatever the circumstances were it's a crying shame, such a young man. You never know, lets stop pointing fingers because it could happen to anyone. My condolences to the family and friends.

My complete empathy and condolences to the family and friends of this young man. It seems the opinion is out there that this death is related to Ryan's (former?) lifestyle. It is a fact that drugs are addictive, and if this is the case, I am sure someone from his family will come forward and honestly address the cause of his death. Let's wait for this to happen, and if it does, let's expect the former governor to use his clout and well known name to speak out about the dangers and cover-ups that are part of the illegal drug scenerio. We do not have the luxury of treating this as a private matter, when we are losing so many of our young people from addiction and/or death. We should be screaming to the top of our lungs instead of tippy toeing around the problem out of embarrassment, shame, pride, etc. It could just as easily be your child.

That's because you're an ass! And,,,it has nothing to do with race, but,as always,Blacks play the race card no matter what the situation is. Let's see: in 1623 my family fled England due to religious persecution and they landed in Ma. Maybe I should sue the Throne of England now for religious discrimination. How silly does THAT sound?

Wouldn't former Governor Rowland do a service to all if he was able to tell the truth about his stepson's death. If it was due to drugs, he could educate the public just as Carroll O'Connor did and others whose children have struggled with addiction.

Blah, blah blah, start a demonstration, call the news media, get Al Sharpton, too bad for you, then don't do the drugs and maybe it won't happen to you.

Let's just hope that he will at the appropriate time. Right now the focus is on the loss of this young man.

It's a bit differant losing your life to Drug Abuse than being shot, stabbed or beaten to death by some "Other" crack head.

My smpathy's always go out to those hurting by the loss of a loved one and of course this is true with the Rowland and Largay Families.

However, the message remains the same.
Loss of life to Drugs or Alcohol may be tragic but, is not unavoidable.
Intervention is avoidable, recognizing a loved one with a problem and getting involved is avoidable.

Parents PAY ATTENTION to what your kids are doing and dont hesitate to get involved and to step on some toes while you still can.

Enough with the black and white game, it is getting kind of old.
