This kind of uproar is always initiated by people suffering from hyper-religiosity. In their own terms it would be called, "evangelical christian", or "born again". But they are actually suffering from a form of O.C.D. that causes them to have an irrational fear of those that are not part of their cult. They target people or institutions that they label as "secular" for a feeble attempt at character assassanation. It almost always just makes the pious buffoons that start this kind of witch hunt look like the cultists that they are.
