To enlighten you ignorance we pool up in groups of four this allows us to do different things having our own transportation and be able to leave early in the event of an emergency . And yes Georgia excepts us graciously and the people there are the most helpful I've ever seen, unlike the stuck up SOB's here in Fla, As for parking we park at the hotel unless one decides to go to store , As in this case where one in the group went to this store mentioned here and waited in line to pay for the merchandise they got and went to get in their car and a wrecker was hooked to it . The tow truck driver said they was in the store over five minutes . They had to wait to pay for their merchandise you idiot it takes longer than five minutes to shop and get out. YES IT IS A SCAM you dumb ass. I say Boycott this place . Take a bus you say you are an idiot why take a bus for a 60 mile trip how ignorant can you be . We go to relax not have to deal with idiots like you. So if you want to enjoy a trip go to Georgia where the people will do their best to help you and and not try to SCAM you.
Audrie Busybush wrote:
If you took large groups to events, would that not require a BUS? If a group travels to an event in their own cars, how are you "taking them"? And you refer to "the group of 50+" you now "take" to St. Simons and Jekyll Island. If they are all in individual cars, that must create quite a traffic jam. I'm sure Georgia just loves you.
Here is a tip for you and your roving tribe of tourists who "spend in the thousand's" as your caravan snakes through tourist hot spots: PARK IN DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS. Your towing problems will magically disappear.

Get your story straight, fool. First you say "when we got ready to go our cars had been towed by these people ASAP at a cost of $1200 to get them to give our cars back" which would have to involve ALL the cars in your party.(A car tow fee is $153.) Now you say "one in the group went to this store mentioned here and waited in line to pay for the merchandise they got and went to get in their car and a wrecker was hooked to it". Make up your mind. Pick a lie and stick with it.

You are welcome to go elsewhere to vacation with your "group" just so we don't have to read your illiterate lies as you make up your story as you go along.(Tip: Stop with the vacations and take a
couple of classes so you don't write like the retard you are.)

Another smart ass Floridian and you wonder why the tourist have quit going there. I have been following this post and even went as far as making a trip to see if this is true , and guess what! every word that the original poster placed is true. I took my news team down and watched this location . Low and behold there was this ASAP wrecker sitting in the parking lot and every patron that went in this store was victimized by this tow truck driver. We spent the weekend there just to see if it maybe was a one time thing , nope he stayed all weekend and when someone went in this store he would sneak up and hook up pretty slick way to make a buck off of tourist . He would then tell the owner of the vehicle to pay up or he would tow it to there lot and charge a tow bill and storage fee. what was really funny he didn't
even know that we had four cameras taping this fiasco. So maybe before you call this poster a lie you may want to go see it for yourself. We also found an Attorney there doing his own investigation and recording every move this tow truck driver made . I asked him why he was doing this he said a client had reported this scam and he was building a case to prosecute the store owner and wrecker company and had been there for three weekends. One car owner called the police and the police told the wrecker driver to release their car or he would put him in jail . I interviewed the officer and he told us that they have had several reports of this going on and they was going to put a stop to it. Good Job! I will be investigating this for a couple of more weeks then I will report it on the 6 o clock news. Thank the original poster for bringing this to our attention . This is a great story.

I have been illegally towed twice by that company. below is a complaint that I sent to the Jacksonville Sheriffs office.

Good Morning Officer Morningstar,
I am sending this email as written confirmation of our recent phone conevrsation regarding ASAP towing. I would like to file a formal complaint and request action be taken against ASAP towing.
On the evening or night of December 30, 2010 my car was towed by ASAP towing, from it's rightful parking space in front of my condominium. The next morning I went to the ASAP office to find out who authorized the tow or why it was towed. I was told that it was either the property management company or the property owner. I told them I was the property owner and asked who from the property management company authorized the tow, I was told by the ASAP employee, "that information is confidential". I know that no one from the property management company was present when the vehicle was towed.
To retrieve my vehicle they wanted me to pay several hundred dollars in fees. I asked how it could be so much and they said it was towing and two days storage. Only when I balked and complained that it hadn't even been 24 hours since it was towed was the amount reduced to just under $150
I feel that my car was unlawfully towed and held for ransom by ASAP towing. I would like to be reimbursed by ASAP towing, for the entire amount I paid. Also I would expect action be taken against ASAP towing by the Jacksonville Sheriff's office so that this will not happen again, to me or anyone else.
Thank you,

Your right a monkey can write a letter but it takes a purebred jackass to respond like you did. So give it up there is to many complaints about this ASAP company for you to defend them , You are no doubt an employee of this company and trying to cover up their scams. Your just as useless as this company. Get a life you worthless bum. It would not make me any happier to see the Duval County Sheriff Office shut this outfit down permanently for these scams along with the store owners that are in on it.

<quoted text>To the lack of your intelligence , It was not my car he hooked up as a matter of fact I dared him to touch mine and he wouldn't because I knew what the laws are he would bluff innocent teens and out of townees that had no knowledge of the laws. BTW I don't smoke . The store owner stayed on the sidewalk unknowingly to customers and would point out cars to the wrecker driver to hook up, then when the wrecker driver got paid he would pay the store owner his cut. It was a silver ASAP wrecker with a stinger so yes a good operator can have your car in the air in 3 seconds . The funny thing is he wouldn't leave the parking lot with the cars because he knew that it would be auto theft so he would hook em up and set until the owner arrived and bluff them into paying a tow bill of $153 . OK people here's a little help it is not illegal to park in a public parking lot if your a customer at one of the establishments if a tow truck hooks up your car you can prosecute them for trespassing and or auto theft. So don't fall for their bluff. He wouldn't hook mine up because when he figured out I was an attorney he got scared , I also advised the others he was trying to scam of their rights and pass out my card as they would come out and he would turn loose of their cars. I also tried to get the name of the boy that worked for the store and he ran and hid . I got the names of several victims and will be filing felony warrants against the store and the wrecker
company. So now it will be in all the Jacksonville news papers about this scam. I have a 2 hour video on the internet of these two doing this.
stay in mn .......good lard the stuff they pull up there is far worst

did you send it to 7-11 corporate? I'm sure they would have a serious problem with a clerk splitting money with a tow truck driver on their property.

Are you talking about the street dance at the beach this past Saturday, if so I know what your talking about . I thought there was something up with that place. I seen a black guy whip the wrecker drivers ass for trying to load his car . It was so funny that little guy was kicking his ass and made the wrecker guy let goof his car, and his GF beat the hell out of the boy on the sidewalk that said for him to get . You should sell the video. My GF took some pics of this guy.

This is a total load of crap. . Yeah, we know who you are. Poor guy brags about what he did to the wrong person, who told Us. IFELTERBETTER you need to try and beat us by providing good service to YOUR customers instead of making up lies about how we run our business. This proves how we are getting to our competition.

As a representative of ASAP Towing I just want to say we do provide service to over 2000 businesses in Jacksonville. We have an A+ Rating with the BBB.
Our goals have always been to service our clients needs with fast reliable service. We have 5 locations including St.Augustine. Our business has steadily grown since 1995 and was ranked as one of the fastest privately owned businesses in Jacksonville. You don't get steady growth like that by doing dishonest practices. Maybe our competition should follow our system for success.
