The president is unable to say the word "mistake". Until he does, and don't hold your breath, little will be done to bring a solution to the U.S.

Bush reminds me of that old joke about a fighter's manager who was nicknamed Blood and Guts: his guts but the fighter's blood.

The Sun is wrong - the war ended (as bush-whack) claims over fours ago and over 3,800 deaths ago; and remember the toyboy in his flightsuit after his 'bring them on' speech - that is, bush whack wants them to bring it on as long as American kids are the ones playing in blood and death for his fake courage. We are mired down in an occupation draining away lives, soldier's futures, and our dollars in an endless battle to make Iraq safe for Iran to control - what an empty victory that only stupid republicans and foul democrat's could continue to support. As boys are ground into dog meat for oil, the terrorist are safe in their caves laughing at us breaking our military in a battle against the wrong enemy.

If the President had to lie to coax the nation into war then the real reasons were not good enough and the reasons we are there now aren't good enough either. And the worse reason imaginable for sending more of our sons and daughters to their deaths is because we can't bare the thought that the first 4000 died needlessly.

WE LIVE IN THE HOME OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE, THE BRAVE THAT HAVE PERISHED, AND FOR THIER UNDYING VALOR, LET US ALL REMEMBER THEM BEFORE THEY WERE SOLDIERS. I PRAY EVERY DAY FOR MY TWIN SON'S TO COME HOME TO ME SAFE FROM THIS WAR. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL THE LOVED ONES THAT HAVE SACRIFICED.
TILL THEY ALL COME HOME, DIANE CARDINAL |

What Kool-Aid have you been drinking? Must be real sweet. In your eyes, Iraq wasn't a threat? They were certainly a threat to not only us in the U.S., but to our friends (such as Kuwait) in the Middle East. They may not have had the huge cache of weaponry that the media wanted to see. But it is/was there. Oh, it certainly was. |

America is the land of the free, and the home of the brave because we've always had people willing to sacrifice for people oppressed anywhere in the world.
If our ancestors were of eugene's ilk, we wouldn't have the opportunity to freely express our thoughts like we can today! God bless America, our brave troops, & President Bush! |

Bush and top administration officials led America into war by claiming that Iraq had an active program to develop WMD, including atomic weapons, and that they were stockpiling such weapons.
The weapons development program wasn't there and the stockpiles of weapons weren't there. Forget cutesy references to Kool-Aid drinking and silliness about what "the media wanted to see." We were lied to, plain and simple. |
First, I would highly encourage the use of spell check. Aside from that, I'd love to know your definition of "solved." Saddam was always a threat to Kuwait and other friends, just because he 'lost' the first battle, it doesn't end with that. This isn't 'capture the flag.' Very early on, 4 cleared Al-Sahmud missles were found, these were clearly in violation of the UN's policy for Iraq. In addition, a heavily guarded Iraqi scientist provided thorough detail of what he worked on, and were the cache was last located. Also, ten casings of M8t3 cartridges were found, leaving evidence that additional missiles were in-production or torn-down for use. Although its a shame in the number of losses we have, and my heart hurts for all the families of loved ones. I am proud that there are young men and women that voluntarily serve our country. The operative word is, voluntarily. Other countries certainly do not have that choice. Enjoy your Kool-Aid, save us some for the ride! |

The 4,000 number - are you refering to the number of American citizens killed in cites controlled by the democrates? Or the number of American's killed by prescription drugs? or the number unborn killed in American "clinics"?
NO as those numbers are far greater than the number of American Soldiers who have died saving your sorry butt so you can spin their deaths into your political bull. |
|
First, I don't watch Fox News, or any of the other cable outlets. Secondly, Kool-Aid is a delicious treat, and nicely priced. Thirdly, Al-Sahmud missiles were not U.S. issued or made. Do I think this is the greatest administration we've ever had? Certainly not, it is doubtful we'll ever have the 'perfect' administration, in a sense that we all come from various backgrounds and contain ideals that are unique. In addition, I never said Iraq was not allowed to have an Army. They are certainly permitted to man-up and protect their interests. Its the abuse of power, that led to most of this scenario and the prior one. I am certainly not going to change your opinion about the President, nor do I care too. Like it or not, he is the President of these United States. |

The people who say Saddam was no threat are blinded by their hatred of Bush. They obviously did not know of the Kurds being killed by chemicals, nor the fact that he was shooting at our Air Force which was enforcing the no fly zone (which was implemented to contain his killing Iraqi's), nor do they understand that the sanctions were ending and he would have had the money to continue his nuclear ambitions, nor do they know of the hundreds and hundreds of sucide vests that were uncovered ( saddam was gonna use those for his birthday party celebrations), nor do the Bush haters know of the airliner that was in the terrorists training facility (perhaps they were using that for stewardess training for American Airlines). Wake up

Clean up your own back yard before you tell somebody else to clean up their's.
According to FBI statistics, over 18,000 people were murdered in 1997. Thats in the USA and most were in cities controlled and run by Surrendercrats. |
|
|
1075 Americans murdered in the District of Columbia in the past 5 years. That is only one city controlled and run by Democrates. What if we add Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, SanFranciso, LosAngles etc.
As you spin the deaths of 4,000 brave American's into you own hate filled political bull, look in your own back yard and question why your surrendercat "leadership" can tolerate tens of thousands of deaths right here at home. Stop using the deaths of these brave men and women for your hateful writings. |
|
|
And the final number is
82,679 murders in the USA during the past 5 years. That is from 2002 to 2006. Where are all you bleeding heart liberals? Oh you live in those cities. Where is your political spin on these numbers? I realize you would have to question the person you elected into political office. That would put a strain on your hate mind. You undoubtably blame Bush for your own failures in humanity. Now maybe I shall post the numbers of unborn Americans you so liberally want to kill. That would be in the millions. You are too interested in spinning the number of people you don't even care about or respect. Your political agenda takes precedent over reality. You liberals don't care about the American Soldier. You democrats despise him. So stop using the deaths of men and women you despise for your pleasure. You sick and twisted liberal. These fallen Americans should be revered and honored as individuals who will never enjoy the blessings of America. Their lives and futures ended in their prime so they should be remembered and written about as heros. |

In Iraq, Arabs are just being Arabs. And if you ask them, they will tell you: Democracy? Never! It's all about who is powerful enough to rule. And that's how it is in all Arab lands.

Biff, Is that which you've just described supposed to be the WMD development program over which we went to war? Do you not remember how those weapons were described by Cheney? and the President? and Powell? and Rice? and Rumsfeld? I can't believe that you are claiming that this piddling amount of weapons proves that Iraq was a threat.
|
That was just one example. I've read the declaration of war, you can find it on the State Departments' website. I know what it says. If that example of weaponry wasn't enough for you, I am sure one of the rogue groups in Iraq would be happy to send one your way. I wasn't referring to some dinky 'shoulder to air' dart. |
|
I didn't realize murders only happen in cities with Democrat mayors. I'll have to keep that in mind. So the soldiers died saving us from Iraq? Was Iraq planning to attack us? Change your screen name if you're going to post garbage like this. |
|
Great point. The billions we are spending in Iraq would have been far better spent on law enforcement here. I'm glad you've seen the light. |
