Why did they release his name he is still a young kid
Because the young kid is a lowlife and a danger to the Community. I wish the Cop would have returned fire and killed all three of them.

I mean the kids were in the wrong, but The SCPD also cut them slack you do have to admit but yes again the kids were still in the wrong, also the reason why the kids' name was released was because he was tried as an Adult which at 17 you can be tried as an adult.... Again I do feel bad for these kids cause I do know them and they should have known better...

yea the cop car probably got a new paintjob the next day. the paint comes off easily, its not acid, the velocity would have to be turned up sooo high or they would have had to be real close to the car inorcer for the paintballs to make a dent. They were kids so I doubt they had an insanely powerful pb gun. My point is that the county's money probably went to get a new paintjob on the car when it wasnt even needed. I wouldnt be suprised if the cop got a whole new car for like 2 paintballs hitting his car. thats how moronic the county legislature is around here.

Actually no per nys law and department operating procedures if someone is firing a projectile weapon and the officer feels in danger he can return fire using lethal force and its a clean shoot. Thats what these kids dont understand. That cop could have returned fire lit them all up and their families couldnt do squat

paintball doesnt equal a bullet. A Bullet is lethal of course, a paintball can never be lethal, it can do much harm but it cant be lethal. thats where youre wrong. a paintball gun isnt extremely loud like an actual gun is. so youre saying if a kid shoots a watergun at a cop has the right to kill a kid with an actual gun?... thats abuse of power. the cop would feel embarrassed and get trigger happy on some innocent kids

All a officer has to do is be in fear of his life to use his weapon. If someone is crazy or idiotic enough to fire any kind of weapon at a police office be it a bb gun, paintball gun etc at a police officer that person is text book danger and could be taken down legally.

The get paid 25,000 for training at the academy. Not too many cadets are getting shot at in a classroom.

In NYC, pointing a finger like the barrel of a gun is sufficient ground for an off duty cop to shoot to kill, from his car into yours!, and the AG will call it justified!

thats abuse of power in the worst way. there like the kids who get picked on in school and they grow up and have a grudge against society and abuse their power. They are just cowardly, using a weapon. If cops were real men/ women, they would use their fists/bodies

"makes me prowd to be a Republican"
I'm sure all your prowd fellow Republicans are prowd you know how to spell.
Anyway.... this is pretty funny. At least those kids didn't hit an innocent pedestrian.
Maybe they wanted to see if the cop would actually get out of his car.

I am an Israeli! Also, the correct speeling is "can't" not "ca'nt". It is pretty sad that you lack basic language skills.
