Today HF goes to criminal court to see if his motion to have the judge, whom hf describes as being a former police officer hearing his case, be replaced by yet another judge. HF also submitted a note written on a script issued by a nurse practitioner specializing in female patients that says "due to his depression, he is unable to follow through with scheduled appointments".

Where is Jane when you need her?

It makes me sick to continually see the abuse of taxpayers money that HF and all his other criminal and lunatic friends waste by getting all the continuations of their cases. it is plain crazy.

Jane was brought up because Brady is a moron. Apparently he doesn't like the way she points out that the village is doing everything wrong. Apparently we are all to just sit back and let the village, AKA Gary Stiritz, do what they want and heed to their rules, what ever they may be for the week to accommodate them and their friends. I dont care what the village may have accomplished,(not much from what I see), but you can not have two sets of rules in a government. One set of rules is for the "village people" (no permits, do what you want) and another set of rules for the rest of us.

It is becoming more and more obvious that MB is a mess. It's not because of yellow road lines, like some complain about. That is a silly issue. The real issues about leadership in MB are in question. Who cares about HF? He's just one guy. What about the lives of the rest of us?

This topic is about the subject of HF statue. I hope Jane runs for office too. She can help HF with his petition since she helped Bruce last election. She is a pro.

Jane was at a meeting with NYS looking out for the people of Mastic Beach.
So were Bruce and Maura.
The three of them went to a meeting in NYC to see what the Village was up to with changes in the fire codes.
At the meeting the board voted 11 to 1 to keep the NYS codes and not let the Village change anything.
That's where the three were......where we needed them.
Thanks guys.

A little presumptuous on your part, wouldn't you say? But, I guess you are still puffed up by obtaining what you described as a record breaking number of write in votes ever recorded in a NY election. A claim that was not remotely true, as most of your other rants. Local law number 4 would help buyers looking to buy a house in MBV not get stuck with a fire trap. Nice work if you really did have anything to do in getting that proposal rescinded.

That's all you got? I read the proposal, it would have provided BUYERS of houses to have pease of mind knowing the house they were interested in had been properly repaired by reputable craftsman and satisfactorily passed safety and building code inspection. So now, if what you said about an 11-1 vote is accurate, the village will rely on NYS law.

I think it would be adviseable to foil the addresses of all houses that were damaged in recent storms, or sustained fire damage to be publicly posted to alert prospective buyers of the need for follow up inspections. Now, who do I know that knows how to FOIL documents?

Foiling isnt the problem. getting the village to hand over the information is. once again, the village (Gary) decides what people hear and know.

Maybe I'll try a different approach, just ask for it! My point is anyone thinking of buying a house south of Dogwood better get a thorough inspection and demand proof of all restoration work was done under proper permit. Be careful, I see many houses near the water for sale. Could be a real money pit. Better also get a homeowners and flood insurance quote too.

They better get some moolah from the state to put a pedestal under the Honest Frank statue so his toes don't wet. Maybe some sprinklers too in case of fire.
