I've read the candidates' statements and it's clear that you all are-- financially speaking--screwed!!! Insane increases in budgets and teachers' raises and NO ONE is going to do a thing!!

The world now knows about the fraud, scam and crony corruption related to the school system.

Lots of luck with your property values----and better start walking and giving up meals---you're gonna need every cent to feed the tax monster!!

I am hearing that the lawn signs I see through out the town of Riverhead with 3 names are all teacher related. This has me concerned, Is the teachers union actively campaigning to gain control of the board???
In these times the teachers union has to be open to working with the community to reel in the cost. 6.5% pay raises are out of line. Being off Memorial day weekend Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, because of unused snow days is wrong. What about the cost to families for child care for those days. Think about it; today's family both parents are working to make ends meet.
