I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYBODY KNOWS WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN MIDDLE ISLAND, WHAT WILL BE OF THE LARGE LOT WHERE K-MART USED TO BE? AND WHAT ABOUT THAT OLD STINKY WHAT WAS ONCES A GAS STATION AT THE CORNER OF MIDDLE COUNTRY ROAD AND ROCKY POINT? ANYBODY WITH SOME INFO. PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS TOWN MUCH CLEANER WITH SOME STORE ALSO WE BADLY NEED A GOOD AND CLEAN FOOD STORE

I understand that the land of the old K mart is going to be used as a garbage tranfer station or a possible small garbage burner..it will be state of the art..it will add to the tax rate

A garbage burner?? i was told they are going to open a strip of retail store and a large restaurant! i don`t want to live next to a garbage burner, no way !!! please if any body knows anything about it let me know. Thanks

well in order to get what we want we know will end up paying more tax, i will be happy with that i least we get something, we pay more tax anyway....but what we get? GARBAGE ! we need store to shop and good restaurant to eat and much more here in Middle Island ! we din`t need a dog park!!
Where do we go food shopping....to that filth compare food where you leave a tip for them to bag for you? hahaha RIDICULES! AND THAT FILTH KING KULLEN? NO WAY! we need a super stop and shop....a GAP store...MARSHALL...TJMAX...MIC HEAL....and much more !!

someone told me they also want to build a petting zoo for the kids ....it will give them somthing to do... I think it would be nice to have all different kind of animals there, i mean they do have a dog park so its a natural fit

No way! a petting zoo? that dog park makes no sense !! we need store where we can shop, this town it is disgusting!! i am so so so sorry i moved here !
