Medford teen killed in crash near LIE

An 18-year-old Medford woman was killed Thursday when she lost control of her car on a Long Island Expressway service road in Hauppauge, Suffolk police said.

There are lots of people who do expressway-speed on the service road. If you have to swerve because of slower traffic, it's pretty easy to have an accident like this.

Coming from someone who cant figure out his own identity, "your" attempt on pointing out my typo has been taken with a grain of salt.

It was raining and an inexperienced, young driver may have unfortunitely lost control of her vehicle, spun out into oncomming traffic, and collided with another vehicle and trees.
or
There was oil or debris on the road causing it to become slick, causing multiple spinouts that day.
or
Another driver hit her vehicle causing her to spin out of control on a wet surface.

We may never know what caused the tragic accident; but one thing for sure is that an innocent young woman unnecessarily lost her life. Anyone who would speak negatively or place blame is a faceless coward with no heart. Pure evil!
