Plant a few extra trees to to squat/stand behind....as their companions do. If can't hold it, go home a little bit earlier so next
group don't have to listen to the whining.

Well, Well it's about time Brookhaven did something right, congratulations. Why would we need this when everyone in that community has back yards. It's not a heavy apt. community where you need a place, like NYC to walk a dog, try the street, like in the old days, its free.

I don't think we need toilet facilities either but we also don't all have backyards and all dogs love to run not walk as often as they can.
I was not a fan of Brookhaven politicians but now that they've done something unselfish (no builder kickbacks, no permit fee windfall etc) I am more inclined to give them a further consideration.
What does bother me is the statement by them that it would have cost $150000.00. There is a little wooden shed there now, and to buy a cute one would be maybe One thousand. Hook up to the sewer or cesspool line the store already uses would be minimal and to put a bathroom in a home from scratch is about $5000.00
So I am glad we're not having one - its too much money but was a nice idea.
By the way this isn't glorious parkland that was taken by the dogs, its a scruffy woodsy area that has tons of glass shards that we owners pick up all the time. We're not complaining but want you to know its not depriving people of nice parkland.
