I can see, where, it's something, for a resident who has nowhere, to walk their dog.
It's a shame that these politician's don't take care it better.
What these pols, don't understand, if they didn't do ANYTHING else for the public, at the least, they can JUST, take care of those "visable" public services...like highways, garbage pick up, snow removal, etc...no one would, really mind, how much money, they "stole", or had LOTS, of no show employees !
Like they said about Mussolini, at least the railroads, were on time !

I have a complaint. The last time I brought my dog to the park, I was "run out" of the park. The situation unfolded like this: A bunch of dog owners sitting in a circle in plastic chairs not supervising their animals. A French Bulldog was in the 30 and over section. This dog kept nipping at my 80 pound dogs heels. I was watching this little agressive dog, when my 80 pound dog turned around and barked at it, but NEVER once went for French Bulldog. All of a sudden the group of chair sitters jumps up and starts saying my dog is "agressive!" My dog could have torn that dog apart, he was just saying to the French bulldog to "BACK OFF!" All the chair sitters (who did not see a thing), were hovering over this agressive little French Bulldog as if it was the victim! I was threatened with exile from the park. When I mentioned that the French Bulldog may have a better experience on the "little dog" side, I was chastized. The owner said "He is 35 pounds!" While that may be accurate, the 30 and over side is full of labs, great danes, goldens...ect. That is the owners choice, but that is an incident waiting to happen.
I consider myself a responsible dog owner. I had enjoyed the park for many years. I read Ceasar Milan books, take my dogs to behavior training and take dog ownership very seriously. I feel bad that I cannot enjoy the park anymore because of irresponsible dog owners.
Just because my dog was bigger, does not mean he was the aggressor. It is a sad situation. I don't know if I will be returning.

I've been to this park several times without incident. The water works fine - except turned off in the winter.
My only concern is that some of the "parents" don't clean up after their dog goes and that some of these same people cannot control their dogs.
Things get a little out of hand on the 30LBS and over side. Most of the people are good.
The town should take a little more care in the landscaping. It sometimes look like the land that time forgot. Overgrown grass, etc.
All of the good things about the two areas are what the people themselves have done. Not the town!
They've been building a bathroom facility for about two years now. The town doesn't move that quick.
Other than that it's a safe fun place for your dogs to run around.
Two thumbs up from us!
