Did the mayor use his influence to get his daddy a job with Kramer Lumber? Or is his dad just good buddies with Tom "the egomaniac" Ransom and Kramer's needed someone who has beened fired from every job he's every had? Cronyism? Favoritism? Nepotism? No way, not with Christian Chris running our city. Same old B.S. just a different face.

I think he also works part time with King Kenny Estes.

Bernstein you idiot. Like this is some type of accomplishment to land a job at Kramer Lumber. He was most likely the only applicant. The drugged out losers of Frankfort won't work or even apply.
It this the best you have to bitch about?

Really? Getting job at Kramer Lumbar doesn't take a degree or even a way in by "it's not what you know, but who you know." Who cares that he has a job that pays probably a little more than minimum wage. If it was nepotism, he'd have a govt. job. Cronyism wouldn't be appropriate because he would have some awesome position of authority at Kramer Lumbar- is he the store manager? If it was favoritism, don't you think he would like a better position than one at Kramer Lumbar? PLEASE, if you're gonna complain about something- make it worthwhile for my tired eyes to read.

Wow, you have no idea what he is paid, do you? Mr. Randle makes really good money and Mr. McBarnes isn't far behind. Don't care about that nepotism stuff down there but would it be nepotism for Mr. Uitts and his brother to both work at the Frankfort Fire Department? Just curious of your thoughts on nepotism...

Why would it matter if two brothers worked for for the fire department? We father and son work for our police department. I just think this is silly.

No I have no idea what his salary is. IMHO it would be nepotism if: The brother is involved with hiring his family member, or
if he serves on an interview panel where a family member is an applicant, directly supervising a family member, or working in the same line of supervision as a family member. There are also HR policies in place I am sure, but not privy to that information. Your opinion?

Who is the father and son that work currently at the Police Department? Is Josh Uitts a supervisor at the Fire Department? Does Josh Uitts vote on pay matters for employees as a city councilman? Further more, wasn't their a nepotism law that was passed by the state of Indiana? You tell me!!

Ya UNO who is the father and son that currently works at the police department? And I bet that where you work there are family members that work in some form of capacity. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a son following in his fathers footsteps, brothers following in his footsteps and so on. Especially when we have families on the welfare system that follow each others footsteps. Just saying.

The word (had) was missing from my previous statement, I meant to say we had father and son on the police force. My step dad was a fireman / arsen investigator for 30 plus years, my uncle his brother worked at the very same station.. I don't see what the big fuss is all about.. I do sometimes work for my dads business, however, that is not my primary career. So once again, what's the big deal??

I don't see the big deal either, I just think a city agency should follow the state law that was created. I guess the state thinks its a big deal...

Whoa, whoa, whoa... Tom Ransom an "egomaniac"?, such dribble will not be tolerated. I'll have you know, Tom Ransom has bent over backwards and has served in more than one capacity to better our community. A small business owner who has employed hundreds, possibly millions, of local residents. The man is a member of The Indiana Football Hall of Fame, for God's sake, what more could you haters want? His achievements are infinite and his generosity is un-bounded. I, for one, am grateful to have such an individual at the helm. The man is a lumber God...

I was in the store the other day and bought a hammer, a puddy knife and a roll of masking tape from the Mayor's dad. I thought, man how many strings did Chris have to pull to get his dad that job? I did see Chris with one of those "Wood is Good" shirts so there could be something fishy going on???

Hey, dumb ass, mayor's dad hasn't worked at kramers for a couple months and never did work on the floor. He worked at the Lebanon store and was in outside sales. But lies are what is expected from topix.

Temper, Temper now! Tim was wearing his "WOOD IS GOOD" shirt when I seen him. Are you sure he was in outside sales because he sold me a pretty sweet puddy knife? I liked his shirt so much I took a picture and put it on Instagram.
