Day care for McBarnes and all the other administrative children that are crybabies when they have to listen to their constituents that live and work in the real world and have to stretch their real world dollars instead of blowing taxpayers money.
That's where they belong, old man.

This ol man just LOVED readin the TIMES after McCheese took that Stellar group on HIS tour of what he wants to do with the dough! A canal walk along Prarie creek? Ewwww? A senior living Center on the old KYGER property that the paper REFUSED to come out and give the name. Just said something like"A block from 28- across from the neighborhood center- walking distance to Paul Phillipee." Ya wanna know Why? The city Don't OWN the Property! And then the GREATEST was an AMPHA theater over where ALDENS used ta set. I guess since he ran out the guy that owned (hear me OWNED) the Mexican Bar, The city can Tear down THAT building and have a RIP roarin time spendin YOUR tax money on an AMPHA theater sos he can strum his GEETAR and sing "Chicken Fry" for ya ALL he wants! And LAST but not least: WHO is gonna come up with the 2.4 million that it takes ta MATCH yer Stellar Grant if ya get it? ALL the City money and County money is invested in IVT?(Now is the time Punjab will come in here and start spewin poison and venom about investin in Frankfort to better Frankfort) Just remember posters. At WHAT cost? MOST of the times as YOU said "David" at YOUR taxes cost!

Spew venom and poison? No nu-viewy, your close-minded opinions regarding the future of Frankfort and Clinton county are well known: Support the status quo of zero growth, zero education, and zero spending money in the hopes of a better future. Obviously you know nothing about investment and how it works.

I would like to know where they think everyone is supposed to park downtown once Ivy Tech is up and running? They don't want people parking on the square that work up there but yet they don't have a space for them? What are the downtown workers suppose to do? This college should have been at the old South Side School. There would have been plenty of parking. Do they seriously think that college students are going to spend money downtown? First of all college kids are broke; second of all most of them will live in town and go home for meals; third of all there's no place to shop downtown. All this school is going to do is cause more congestion downtown and take away what parking there is. No one seems to be able to answer any questions about the parking issues. I seriously don't think the administration cares about the workers.

Do you as a small city always have to be growing? Can't this city stay the same size and clean up the neighborhoods, the buildings, pave all the roads, update sewer and water facilities, update and maintain parks and spruce up the entry ways to the city? But in your case, you would rather keep growing at the expense of the tax payer and not maintain and keep nice the stuff you already have.

This is simple logic, if you as a homeowner, needed a new roof and siding on your existing home, would you take a loan out to start to build you a new house behind the home you have? Or would you fix the house you currently have? In your case, you would rather build new and let the old house fall apart. Sometimes you can't do both but please remember it is important to maintain and make nic what you currently have.

Didn't you hear there "Want to know"? Stan Smith (who is ON the Economic Development Committee) BOUGHT the old Shores Bowling alley. The Times Quoted Mayor McCheese saying "Now that that building is in "friendly hands" we can purchase it and make parking available there. Evidently his mommy and daddy couldn't raise the credit ta buy the building so he had Smith do the dirty work and let Smith makle money on the deal. If this ol guy aint mistaken I THINK that's called inside information ta begin with and THEN conflict of interest? Hmmmmmm Is THAT the way ya invest in Frankfort there "jabby"?

You know what? The bottom line is we, as the fine city dwellers of Frankfort, along with the fine Clinton County dwellers, are on the hook for all of this.

There ain't sh!t that we are gonna do about it.

BUT, there are some things that we can do something about.

Showing up at these city meetings and start voicing our opinions about the future plans that these idiots are working thru. Especially this economic development plan that someone is trying to shove down the city council's throats. This is more lipstick for the pig.

Main Street could stand some visitors too. The queen of that operation has skeletons that have been in her closet for over 15 years. Main St draws money from taxpayer funded buckets. This same individual owes the state and federal buckets a boatload of money. Not exactly the upright thing to do if I can borrow that from "Tired of all the crooks" playbook.

Some of us wonder how pretty the minutes are to the B.o W meetings. They haven't been posted in quite some time.

Wonder why they don't post the city's budget on line? The USB needs to know that the citizens aren't interested in seeing them give any money to the city. Why enable their stupid spending. Doubt many parents would keep handing their kids money if they keep doing asinine things with it.

Why doesn't the mayor return phone calls? A not for profit group has requested a meeting with him for several weeks now. He has never called back. He ran his mouth about using the land, but now??? Nothing

Look people, we are stuck with crap from Mr. Mcbarnes and that's a damn shame. But it's time to do something about dealing with him in regards to the future plans for OUR TOWN.

The child is smarter than we give him credit for. His connections got him elected, and now he is abandon some of them and forged his own path for the greater good of himself. Something that even Ransom and Estes couldn't see coming.

But the taxpaying citizens of Frankfort collectively are smarter than him or the other waste-oids who he placed into position.

Let's quit bitching on here and make our appearance at places where it counts.

well, well, well, there are at least some smart people in frankfort. that little sh,t is all for his self. the reason he didnt want south side is nobody can see it from old stoney! and he would have to drive people there to show them what he built for us. to bad its a done deal. keep on watching folks. its a shame that its going to cost the tax payers more money than we will ever know.

No need to worry about the parking issue for Ivy Tech. The queen of Main Street (I loved that one) has been working on this issue for at least 8 years (just ask any of the business owners that have attended any of the main street meetings)I am sure that she has this all worked out. Do not fret, the queen will be there to save the day, and if not she will use someone's social security to hire someone to figure it out. Again, what does main street bring to Frankfort other then a paycheck for this tax dodger? Just wondering.

She opened up a new church for her and all of her followers. Wonder if they think that makes them exempt from the world of taxes?

The business is also using someone else as a "front". It's gonna be damn funny when they figure out they are on the hook for some taxes.

As has been said on this forum elsewhere... why does her board, the chamber, the city administration, and her little band of followers believe in her? She obviously has no regard for; the laws of the land, her employees, her close friend whom she bamboozled into helping here, nor the accountants for whom she blames all of her tax issues on.

Want any proof Punjab, Challenger, Nu Viewer, or anyone else? Go talk to the Devores. They just finished paying off stuff for her.

Yep... a true Christan. NOT!!!!!!!!!!

Now... how long will it take for a person to report this and it's gone from the page? But they better remember that it never disappears from those whom she violated.

It must take an overabundance of time to write all that stuff in there that you do.

You should give some consideration into writing like you talk instead of trying to disguise yourself. You don't do it in the J and C so you don't need to do it here.

It's only for a couple of years. I give IVT 5 years max before they have to fold.

Read the statement.

It simply states that if you or the other guys and gals are interested in getting the facts to contact the Devores.

You are a nervous on aren't you.

It must be mind numbing to try and type the way you do. I can assure you it's mind numbing trying to make sense of it. But newspaper ink can do that to a guy.
