Iím totally out raged at the statement that our mayor made in reference to the Rape Lawsuit pending against himself. To even compare a Rape to a Slip and fall lawsuit is ludicrous and shows just how immature, disrespectful but above all in sensitive of the nature of such a heinous act against a young woman. This should be enough for the citizens of Frankfort to be saddened and disappointed to have a mayor of their city to even think making a statement like that is acceptable . I have a daughter of my own and it infuriates me. If I were the parents of this young lady I would take that statement to my attorney and if at all possible make sure that it was presented and included into the lawsuit in hopes that he be held to the highest degree of accountability.
He quoted a few bible verses well I have one for him Deuteronomy 22:25-27. It speaks of death to the man that commits rape. Now Mr. Mayor I ask you how many slip and fallís have you witnessed that ends with a punishment of death in the bible.

You go girl!!!(Or guy)This really doesn't surprise me at all. He's all about the kudos he gets and credit he takes for everything good that happens in the town. Seriously, he's what..25 years old? What does he really know about life in general? Well don't ever go up against him or he'll make sure you never go anywhere in this town!

I'm thinking he just might know the facts of the case

Too bad ol Vern didn't allow a caller to call in on Wilo and allow someone to challenge him on quoting verses from the bible. I too was appalled when I heard this on Wilo as well. But we all know Vern kisses his ass. Too bad Elaine didn't unleash on the Mayors ass. I was a bit disappointed she didn't!

Just why is that if someone disagrees with this mayor or has a difference of opionion its all based on hating him. I think the people that have that opionion need to remember what our country is based on and that is freedom of speech and democracy I don't believe the defintion of freedom and democracy has the word hate in it.

You listen to Wilo? Tried doing that for a while but kept falling asleep. Partyline is the same old stuff repeated on a weekly basis. I think they pay that Larry guy to call in every freakin' morning so they would have somebody to talk to.

WIBC in the morning much better.

Look who is calling who a "Coward". Been around politics for many years and I know just how it works. There are ways to get to the good ole boy system and posting on here just gets the word out there rest will follow. Its not how many battles you lose it's winning the war and I believe in justice and right will win out in the end. So what flavor of koolaid do you prefer:) I'm sure for long it will be Sour Grape ! Have a wonderful day:)

My major problem with the mayor at this point is his use of bible s ruptures I find it to be very offensive, and discrimitory... I am not against our Mayor in the least but I'd just say think before you speak, furthermore, if somebody is advising you to throw out bible verses I'd fire that person immediately!!!!

We are "One Nation Under God" not "One Nation Under Jesus".... Regardless of your belief as Jesus being God in mans form... Ones selection of words is very important, you can lose a large amount of people's respect pushing your beliefs instead of welcoming alternate religions... I know this is a small town and all and the majority of people are Christians, however, I'm pondering your openness to other people's religions and if you even respect them to not discriminate...

I actually just placed a call to Winskis and asked if their buisness was owned and operated by Jewish religion community members, the response was yes.

I also placed a call to a few of the Japanese owned and operated buisness in town and asked their religuos status and was informed they practice Shinto.

I happen to stop by another buisness in town who tho owner and operators practice the Hindu religion.

So when I say that your reference to bible scriptures are discriminatory, I meant it...
