Legally carrying a gun in Michigan City

I think MCPD need to worry about guns that criminals have and not lawfully carrying citizens. Last night my wife and I along with my teenage daughter joined my son, his fiancee and his two small children for dinner at Hacienda.
We finished our meal and were standing at the table while getting my 4 month old grandson back in his car seat. A guy walked up from an adjacent party and asked my son to walk away, but in sight from us. He identified himself as a MCPD officer and asked my son to cover up his lawfully carried handgun. My son obliged (I wouldn't have)because the "officer" said that people were uncomfortable with him having it. Really? we were at the back of the restaurant. His party was really the only people who could see his gun. We were patrons, just like he was! We were not making any scene, just having a family meal! I think he was the uncomfortable one! I, myself carry concealed as to not have these encounters, I know most MCPD cops are ....., when they see someone open-carrying. I did express my right to open-carry as we exited without incident. Stick to chasing the bad guys and kids with guns. Maybe if more people open-carried a lot less crimes with them would be happening in "our fair city"!

ALot of the cops judges and attorneys are cocaine drug dealers in La Porte. These are whom the guns are made for, the people who make sure their is a supply of drugs in every school for your kids.
Get a .44 black powder, no registration nor carry permit necessary. Tell the cops to go arrest themselves for murder and drug dealing and have a nice dinner.

I am busy presently reading papers that were the reason for Judge Chapala for having to step down from his bench. And YES it involved cocaine distributors and money. I also have documents that show felonies by two other state prosecutors in the Michigan City Courthouse. We are not talking about the former head prosecutor just admitting his unethical felony acts that by law should find him disbarred from law practice.
I also have spoken to Drug Enforcement investigators on the east coast that state that the largest and most dangerous (violent) drug cartel in the United States is the uniting of the Zeta Mexican Drug Cartel and The Free Masons.
As the Zetas have infiltrated all facets of the Mexican Government so have the Free Masons making these two groups one united cartel controlling every facet of all crimes and not just drug distribution.
So their are alot of crimes being committed by our local government representatives and they include, murder, kidnapping, extortion and the list is probably unending until you cover all crimes in existence.
