Indiana gambled on gambling as a way to fix the economy, and lost. Except that there are more bankruptcy lawyers working now.

Gambling was supposed to be a good thing for Indiana. If we ask those who are laid off from their jobs or better yet those who are attending Gamblers Annonymous they would say gambling has not been good for Indiana. Another group to ask would be the husbands, wives, and children of those who spend food and rent money on gambling trips. I bet they think gambling is not good for Indiana.
Any industry that does not provide a product or a NEEDED service is apt to fail in the long run. Gambling is not improving the economy in Indiana, it is draining funds from families and lining the pockets of a few wealthy investors.

Make the rules better on the Black Jack
and odther table games.
Cut your percentage on the Slots and Video poker games.
You will have to hire all the employes back and more also.
Most owners want it all from us suckers, so they can boast to odther owners.

Just think of the long suffering of tribal people whom you impacted........over the years with funding lawsuits against the Four Winds tribe. You owned the monopoly long enough! Competition is good!!!!!!!

I live near the Alabama Coushatta Indian Reservation in Texas. They, illegally opened up their own casino and ran it for 9 months before the legal eagles could shut it down. The traffic from Houston to the casino located between Livingston and Woodville was non-stop 24 hours a day. While in operation, the Texas tribe earned hundreds of thousands if not millions. They have used the money to buy land in the surrounding counties. This takes property tax money away from the counties because they are exempt. They have the mineral rights to thousands of acres and gas wells are being drilled every day. The tribe is rich and yet the conditions at the reservation have changed very little during the 40 years that I have lived here. Where is the money going? It is my opinion that it a crime to keep the reservation system in place. The children of the tribe are being denied the opportunity to develop by living in a closed and backward society of non achievers. I favor not allowing the various American Indian Tribes the right to open and run any gambling operation. Let them go out in the real world and earn their place in life instead of being given a free ride.

Go Four Winds. I used to play at Blue Chip, machines were tight. They didn't want to send you any cash back after you loose. They treated you like you were a misfit.
Indiana and Illinois had the market, they just took everyone for granted.
God knows the Indiana deserve something.

From Nevada here,
I'm on a mission to tell folks to stop donating to these money making crooks. Anyone who has gambled for a period of time, has realized that they have tighten everything up where theres no fun in it anymore.I'd say 65% has already experienced it.the other 35 % has gotten to the point where they are looking for a big hit to get out of debt.Trust me...its just not going to happen. Being here in Nevada, for 2 yrs, I have recognized this. And its getting worst. Its to the point where its not enjoyable anymore, thanks to the overwhelming pursuit of profit making.Anyone who has been to vegas, has probably seen this. Until these casino's fall flat on there biscuits, and realize that folks are catching on, and the stockholders understand that its going to all catch up. Thats when they might consider better paybacks than what they have to offer. To make a example, how many of you have actuall seen a nice jackpot lately? I don't mean a 50.00 payout on a nickle machine. But how many times have you actually seen a payout in the last yr. Just think about it for a minute.I live out here , and seldom see it.I guess my Mission for stating this is for 4 reasons:
1---to help folks understand that there is not going to be jackpots, like there was in the past.
2--- In order for people to have fun, it must accomplish satisfaction of having a good time. these days are gone with casino's. I personally know this for a fact.
3--- As you probably know by now, i enjoy gambling. But hate myself when I can't even have a descent time with little money i do have. These things casino owners don't even think about anymore. Its profits folks !Strickley Profits.
4--- Has Anyone heard of severbase? Its all about the control of machines, at a computer. This is how bad its going to get these days. Its not enough for casino's to set percentages with microchips. Now they are going to be able to adjust these accordly.Do ya think they are going to let ya win alittle?I doubt that. Just give yourself a minute to think about it. When gambling starting taking the world by surprise, folks like you and I we're making some extra money , every now and then. How many of you can actually say that now. And now they have a server based computer that can change the percentages? Folks,we need to make a stand. Until these greedy places start making this enjoyable again, I suggest your put your money in the stock, and watch it daily.Odds are you get more enjoyment in the long run than trying to hit a jackpot a any casino. Take it from a guy who moved out here just to have alittle fun. And have a Happy retirement in the sun. Unfortunatly, the only thing thats guaranteed is that i'm getting the sun. And I played these casinos long enough to know. Like I said, my mission is to help folks understand, whats really happening in Vegas. And the only things that are happening are 10.00 hotdogs, and depressing thoughts of going home broke!

That is because you are not Native American. If people don't want to go then don't.
