I will begetting my first computer for Christmas. I'm trying to decide on an internet service-- I'm thinking "Clear Wire." All I want to do is blog, surf and research family tree-- The computer will be a laptop. Do any of you use Clear Wire? Do you recommend it? Do you prefer something else? Whatever help you can give will be sincerely appreciated and gratefully received. Thank you.

After eight years of hearing Hannity and Limbaugh call me a Liberal "Nut Case," and after being ostracized by my beloved Catholic Church for being a "Left Wing Nonsense Pusher," I am wondering if I am the last living Democrat. Are there any others out there? Hello...Hello...Will I go to the bad place because I am a Liberal? The Right Wing "Christians" think so, don't they?

I have been using Time Warner Roadrunner for several years now. It has been very dependable and is the fastest of any i tried for sure. DSL fom AT&T was up and down but ok when it was up. Don't limit your "speed" by the things you listed. Web site often times offer video for many different things. The faster the provider's service the more enjoyable surfing becomes. For example You Tube has very useful instructional video's. Get the best you can budget, and consider the amount of time you will be using it.
