Voting No New Taxes on May 7 EQUALS More Dollars and Cents in our Wallets; and Less of our Dollars and Cents fattening the wallets of the township government.
Say No to the Easy Fix of increased taxes and tell the government to start the hard work of thinking about cutting expenses!

Only unionman runs helter skelter across the blogs, scurrying up support for ignoring the bark of the union's "lap dog politicians" and just all those big "union dues" to the union masters take another big bite out of our hard earned wages.
No Way In May should Citizens empower our local government with greater control over our personal household budgets. Why should the government tell us that "it will only cost a few cents a day more of our money" when the government is unwilling to cut expenses that same few cents a day? Vote No New Taxes on our homes and send a message to the government to cut expenses.
Why not give the local FD union employees a permanent holiday
from union dues?

No Way in May should we allow union indoctrination to "herd us into the polling places" collectively voting ourselves increased taxes for the Safety of union employees increased salaries and increased union dues for the union masters lap dog politicians?

JUST SAY NO WAY to radicals that thwart democracy through union-busting threats. These people, god forbid they rise to positions of influence, are the VERY REASON unions are necessary.

SUPPORT OUR SAFETY ALL THE WAY IN MAY! Closed fire stations affect everyone, union or not.

Worth remembering and repeating.
Thanks for your help in spreading the word No New Tax Increase in May. Tell township trustee Mr. Wade, ENOUGH of spreading township homeowners wealth all over the mud in Springboro's parks.
We really can better use our own money that we have earned for our own family needs, first.
Vote No the May 7 fire levy tax increase.

How silly! That's just more of the same old union malarky the homeowners get thrown at them by multiple government agencies crying out for more money!

Closed fire stations affect everyone, union or not....?
Wow... what a big scary!

Those among us in positions of political influence (who have never seen a levy they didn't LOVE to emotionally spin as "give the government more money" or you and your family will be in harm's way) are the real bully dogs for the union masters, whose self righteous barking seeks to silence all those who oppose tax increases, in "fear and trembling" of the government "forsaking us in our times of greatest needs."

How do you suggest a fire dept that went 13 years on a 10 year levy cut expenses further?

Assuming you have a job...can you operate on your 2001 salary?

Didn't think so.

Just SAY NO to these free riders who selfishly expect that ALL OF US are going to provide them SERVICES FOR FREE! One of the most amazing things about our community is the way our neighbors care for each other. We want to make sure our COMMUNITY REMAINS SAFE while these guys just hope to LINE THEIR POCKETS and buy an even bigger "family home" than they already have. This selfish mentality can't be allowed to ruin the things we enjoy about living in Springboro.

Well, now aren't you Special!

...except for that annoying little problem of greed... you know, coveting thy neighbors wealth... thinking you should have your neighbors earnings because YOU care about spreading the wealth of others to those YOU care about.....everything's coming up Increased Taxes in La-La Land;
BUT what to do with those "selfish mentality Ones" who should not have the freedom to dream bigger dreams for their family homes; but bigger local government for the dreams of the "Union Mentality" ones, caring only for bigger and bigger expenses, and never caring to question the local government:WHY NOT CUT EXPENSES?

Since when does making sure a fire truck shows up when something is on fire or a ambulance when you have a heart attack a "union mentality"?? Thats just common sense!

Expenses have been cut by every local government since Kasich came into office and started squandering our money. Most have been cut to the bone and then some.

And Bullying "YES" to Increased Taxes has nothing to do with
"being a Caring Community."

Our taxpaying homeowners already provide our local governments with a generous level of tax revenue that should cover the cost of providing necessary government goods and services.
Our local township government does not suffer from a lack of revenue; and if our local government had restrained spending ((even just a little bit over the last two decades) there would be no need for this multi-million dollar request for new taxes; and this unnecessary whipped up frenzy of a false budget crisis, holding homeowners hostage over things like safety protection and emergency services.
These needs MUST not go unmet! These local government leaders muct cut expenses and live within our means.
Enough emotional blackmail and fear-mongering bullying from our local government!

Well here we go again...blame the state!

Just because Kasick expected that local homeowners could be bullied into voting oursevles increased taxes on our homes to build bigger local government, doesn't have anything to do with homeowners having enough common senses to Just Say No in May to our local government and Just Say YES to our local government cutting expenses and getting down to the hard work of living within our means.
Just promoting the bully-myth that "We are A Wealthy Community" and now that the state cannot fund more local government services, homeowners have to just say Yes and leave spending our money to the "experts." That's just silly! It's just common sense for the local government to get to the hard work of learning management of our tax dollars providing sevices, while living within our means.
As long as homeowners allow themselves to be "scared and ridiculed" into voting increased taxes; our local government will take the easy fix and keep kicking the can down the road toward higher and higher taxes.

General township funds can't be used for the FD. Its against the law. The township could have a surplus the size of the federal deficit and it wouldn't help the FD a bit.

The fact is, my family is willing to fund an ambulance or fire truck if you need it. You state openly you are unwilling to contribute so my or anyone else's family could have the same.

How is that not selfish??

People who care about their neighbors and community will VOTE YES ON 3!
