Rottweiler Attacks Poodle

[My lovely poodle]

Can you believe it? My 13 year old son was walking his poodle in and a rottweiler ran up to them and grabbed the poodle and started biting him. My son was screaming for help. No cars stopped, but one young man who was half a block away, came running to help. Our poodle made it back home and my son came from another street. We saw all the bites. We got the dog went to the house where the dog lives and there were the police. They took a report from our son, and told us they were waiting for anmial control. Animal control came and told us the only thing that could be done was for me to call the aggressive dog unit and ask for an officer to follow up.
We will get the police report in three days, and I will follow up tomorrow with animal control. In the meantime, not being prepared for this, I cleaned all my dogs wounds and put ointment. Can you believe that the people never showed up at their house? This happned at 5:45 p.m. and everyone was waiting for them until 8:00 p.m.

I am glad my son was not injured, but mentally, now he cannot get that image out of his mind, nor does he want to go on any more outings with his poodle or by himself.

So, for all of you who let your dogs loose on the street, or who do not have the proper fences for your dogs that may not seem aggressive when you are at home, think if it were your 13 year old child who is crying because his dog was attacked by your dog, cannot get the image out of his head and who feels it is his fault because he wanted to walk his dog. But then again, why should you care? You pretended not to be home when the cops were there.

Your dog may be reported as an aggressive dog by a situation similar to the one described above.

well. sounds like a story , but anyways, you must be aware of your soroundings, im mean any animal could come loose at any time.
