Dude, I am the biggest advocate of bringing Cuban immigration to an end, but that comment was un called for. It's still a human being, at the end of the day and the family must be going through sheer hell.

South Florida's highways are deathtraps, but between midnight and 6am, they are even bigger deathtraps.

Why isn't law enforcement cracking down on this & putting all of their resorces into catching these murdering, bastard drivers? In the meantime, we need cameras positioned all over our expressways to monitor the situation and assist in catching these pieces of shit....to heck with privacy, it's the only way, being as lives are being lost.

When you're out driving that time of early morning you have to assume everyone out there on the road is stoned/drunk and drive defenseivly.

You know what...I'm as anti-Cuban immigration as many of you are, but fuck you all and your negative/harsh comments about a child's death. I don't care if that child was Cuban, American or Japanese....it doesn't matter, at this stage.

Just try to think of the family, because they may be reading the garbage you write.

We have ways to find out who you are. The Internet isn't as secure as you think. When we do, I'll have no problem giving your information to one of my good Cuban friends.

Sad Story. Not all people on the road are drunk at that hour. There are good people who work night shifts at hospitals, and factories that work odd hours.
The likely cause of the accident was excessive speed.
My sympathies to the mother of the child and their family.

No matter how you slice it, the death of a child brings with it the greatest pain and loss. My sincere condolences to the family and I hope and pray you may find comfort from friends, family and God.

Someone posted a comment on the Miami Herald that this poor lady was simply taking her baby to the hospital. So what if she was out at 4am....our highways should be safe at any time. As a result, her child has died because of some reckless asshole who could care less about what he did...may he rot in jail for the rest of his life and be in an eternal state of torture for taking a life.

Please try to find a way to ignore the heartless people who post on here with no sense of compassion. Those people don't realize that there is such a thing as karma. Prayers go out to you and your family. It's an awful tragedy and I pray for strength to make it through.
