can the media help many people in michigan help bring justice to our good friend james bowerman??? maybe if there was more media attention to my friends death police would feel more obligated to make an arrest or name suspects in this case.

basically my friend was murdered for being intimate with a n. miami girl who's ex boyfriend ( who has lots of money) went crazy and couldn't do anything but murder my friend and try to get his longtime girlfriend back. police have questioned this man who remains anonymous and have not made an arrest that is so blatantly obvious! please help us Miami Media!!!

Jim Bowerman was a wonderful little boy, close friend of my only son for his entire childhood. I am so so sad and am thinking deeply about his wonderful mother Joanne -who is dealing with this unspeakable tragedy.
Our hearts are broken and we will never ever forget this young man. Jim will remain forever young in our memories. His vivid blue eyes, adorable dimples and ready smile come to mind - words are hard to find but tears are everywhere.

I know you guys are hurting just as everyone in my family is right now. Blaming this man for Jim's death is premature. The police have been working very diligently on this case and have been very good to Jim's family. Please let them do their job. Crimes like these do not get solved in a matter of days, it takes time. Just because the boyfriend was jealous and rich does not make him a murderer. The truth will come out. If there is something you guys know that proves this man is guilty call the N. Miami police or the Crimestopper hotline. This is not the way.
If ANYONE in Miami has ANY information about this tragic crime please come forward. This was a terrible and unecessary crime that needs to be solved.

I just want to know who this man is, that might have had a motive to kill my friend. Sometimes crimes do get figured out in a couple of days, and sometimes they are obvious. The point this person was trying to make is that their was no robbery, a door that was never used was ajar, and a person who could have been motivated by anger was in his life. We just want to know that this crime won't go unsolved like so many other Miami crimes. We just want to know what is going on, and that the police are in fact working "diligently". Maybe some more pressure from the press could help to motivate the police to know just how much jim meant to so many people.

By the way I am a friend of jim's and we don't even know who wrote those blogs about blaming anyone.

In addition to whomever wrote those comments from East Lansing, we are all devastated. This type of response is a bit hasty, but I feel that they reflect the pain that we all feel more than accusing the police for not doing their job.

Why can't someone name this boyfriend or his ex-girlfriend. It's not aginast the law to give names of people he was associating with. I too was a friend of Jim's and feel that someone at the place he worked, knew what was going on and who Jim was having problems with. Does anyone know any names? It is unfair to Jim to not avenge his death by imprisoning the person responsible for this COWARDLY ACT. I wish I could talk to this mysterious guy, Man makes the money, the money doesn't make the man. If he is involved then he's a pathetic Coward and needs swift justice. May god be with you Jim, you'll be in our thoughts.

I know her name is Michelle and she knows more than she is telling. Now she won't even answer her phone. I hope she comes forward with all she knows.

I thank you much. Jim must have had some wonderful friends thier at work, I hope more of you can take together as one and remember him for him and beleive that he would have done whatever it took to make sure his death was not an unsolved one, especially when some know more than others. Please spread the word of this blog/forum so many more can report what they know without giving their name. I know Jim would have done the right thing, It was Jim, you know, he was killed and people don't want to talk. That shows no respect for him and speaks little of the people who know. It's a LIFE we are talking about. Don't let anyone get away with the taking of a life. Do the right thing and celebrate Jim's Life in knowing his killer was brought to Justice so Jim may Rest in Peace.

I understand the pain and anger everyone is feeling. I feel the same way, but if you have information about the boyfriend and girlfriend situation don't put it on a blog GO TO THE POLICE. They are working very hard in this case and have A LOT of information that they can't tell us right now. I know this for a fact. Crimes where a lot of DNA evidence is used don't get solved in two days. This isn't "CSI: Miami". DNA evidence takes weeks to process. That is what they have in Jim's case. So please I beg you guys to stop this. I have faith in my heart that this will be solved. Just let the police do their work. I am so sorry you guys are hurting right now. I can tell that you are hurting very much. I am too. This has been so hard on everyone. I hope to meet you guys tonight and tomorrow at his funeral. I ask you again, on behalf of Jim's family, to stop.

i am great friend with a man that was a great friend, damn near family with jim ( no disrespect to his real family), and I 100% agree with a lot of everyones blogs here but at the same time please do not hesitate to reveal information pretaining to this case, and yes the police in miami are doing what they specialize in, for many years now, and WILL get to the bottom of this situation. I want to thank everyone who has responded to all of these blogs( anonymous chili's employee, and everyone else etc...)
I feel very strongly that most/ some of these opinions that are expressed on this site are true, heartfelt, and outright correct about this bright, young intelligent man, who has a great heart, and is with us in our thoughts and prayers.
Please remember Jimmy B as the "happy-go-lucky" guy that he was and remember you are not the only one who misses him deeply and I appreciate everyones efforts in this matter.

Go to http://www.mem.com/Story.aspx... and add a memory or two about Jim. I know his family would love to read them all. There is only one thing on there right now and it needs to have much more. I hope everyone is doing well during this most difficult time.
