flying for me is a no no.

i'd ratheer add 2 days to my trip and drive.

i drove mid mass.(palmer ) to so fla (1450 miles) in 25.5 hrs. no headache, only pink floyd and the highway..........

Air Tran did better than I expected but I'd never fly that airline again regardless....and how strange is it that I fly JetBlue at least once a month and I've never been delayed on any JetBlue flight, ever. They are my favorite airline for a variety of reasons, hands down.

IMO Spirit has to be the worst in terms of their customer service. Sometimes it takes two hours just to get issued a boarding pass.

Everyone made fun of Airline food. Now its gone and people complain.

And now when I fly. Looks like a bus full of trailor trash scum bags. And when the plane lands after a 2.5 hr flight. I looks like we flew for over 9 hrs from the mess that all the SLOBS left.

So what do you want for $69 ? Dont F'n like it? DONT FLY!!

Wish they would raise the price of tickets 100% and get rid of all the SCUM BAGS on the plane.

You left the best one of all off your list of airline choices. Midwest. On flights out of Ft. Lauderdale the whole plane is business-class seating, at normal coach and discount fare levels, and they offer an incredibly sensible approach to in-flight chow... free, fresh-baked (on board), aromatic, chewy, chocolate chip cookies and coffee or a free soft drink. On time performance seems good, and ticketing baggage and gate systems run well. That's all I need to give these guys top ranking.

The government needs to regulate airlines and force them to charge enough to provide good service . Less people will be able to afford a ticket and the problem will be solved.

I have the passenger coupon for a flight I took on American Airlines from New York to Los Angeles in July, 1955. The fare was $100 plus $8 tax (8%). Yet 50 years later it is possible to get the same fare if you shop for it. How can the airlines possibly be making money? RAISE THE FARES.

Ditto...and try getting someone on the phone..now that's a joke. And did you hear about their President who foolishly did a 'reply all' on an e-mail which included the customer?? Good one..he tells someone the customer is full of it and can complain all they want because they will be back because the rates are better than others and that's all they care about. Now that is a strong committment to customer service!! Is that guy still there?

I think we all know down here how bad Spirit is. Employees have plenty of stories reflecting the airline's disdain for customers which I post on travel message boards.

I drive NJ to Florida 21 hours with Howard Stern all the way
