So sad and infuriating. What's the word on the streets, I ask as an out of towner. Any suspects?

It is sad as hell, I pray for their families. Honestly though, most (not all, save your hate mail) mid-Missouri police officers don't know their ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to the 'big ol' city crime, but if you need someone to fill up the jails with potheads or people not paying child support then look no further. Plus sadly there was another murder last week in Callaway county so I wouldn't hold your breath on any of them getting solved anytime soon. Look on the bright side though, none of these folks were mowed down (pun indended) by a prominent lawyer so if they catch who did it hopefully there will be justice. Peace & chicken grease.

Have to agree with you there. When they asked people to call in with tips, I wanted to call in and say, "Here's a tip -- try to find out who did it!"

Oh, and Clampitt is about as prominent as one of the 10,000 flies on a pile of cow shit. Unless you ask him, of course.

Man, it really does not take folks long to find a platform to spew stupid crap from. Mud Butt asked a question and Paulie Walnuts used it as an excuse to spew crap.....get a life.

Anyway, my point was numb nuts, the police around here are not trained to handle stuff like this. I grew up in Mexico/Auxvasse and the police are a f'ing joke. You know it, I know it. They have to call in the Major Case Squad anytime something major happens, what's that tell you? The local cops don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and in the few cases that they do get it right, money and social standing will get you out of it in Audrain County. Hence my Jim Clampitt joke.

Well, Paulie, I would say if you are not one of those local police around here then you would not know what they are trained on......I also happen to know a thing or two about the Major Case squad and what it is for.

The Major Case squad is called in so egos dont get in the way and investigations get handled the right way. If you had the slightest idea the work that goes into those types of cases then you would understand why it is mandatory you call in MCS. I will agree money and social standing do go a long way and that sucks.

I would say the tone of your origional message turned to cop bashing first thing so that leads me to believe that was your intention.

Paulie is probably a felon who got caught by the cops. Looks like those cops got the case cleared up Paulie, and just so you know MCS did not get called out for that murder.
