Can't help but get excited about the things our leaders are doing. We have had too many shootings an too much violence. I really wish we could have went off the so called cliff and went back to the higher tax rates. We are going to have to go through some pain to solve our debt problems. Clinton named Father of the Year. Clinton has done great things and is a great example of a father. It shows the young people that you can make mistakes and still rise above. Our leaders are proving that pot is not as bad as you have been brain washed to believe. The Republicans have wreched their train and now it is time to ride ours, ALL ABOARD!!

I'm sure you pay no taxes and leech off us taxpayers. Something to be proud of. People like you are what's wrong with our country. Get a job and an education. By the way, what does "wreched their train" mean?

Yeah it's all doom and gloom for the republicans but the fact is: Gas is cheaper than it has been for a long time (record profits for the oil companies under bush). Interest rates are way low, the Dow Jones is at a record high, more people in poverty are being helped than ever before. You guys r whacked out. Look around, wake up, and quit drinking the kool-aid. Hey Shaman, I studied Shamanism for a while back when I was younger.

Sometimes I think there is a single group of people or an organization that truly runs all the workings of the world. I can see them all around a table and one says "Hey, lets really fuck up America, let make the President black. One who will take guns from the honest people but then give guns to the Mexicans drug lords. As a black man then he could increase welfare [for his bros. and sisters] and make the hard working white man pay for the days their forefather had them in chains [even though that was 150 years ago]. He could shut down all coal fired power plants in America without having an alternative fuel source to back up the need for more electricity. He could set the American dollar on such a decline that it will never be able to recover. It'll work because the American people are just pawns anyway."......... AMERICANS, DON'T BE A FUCKIN PAWN!!!! We should be talking impeachment before it's too late.

Do you realize our government pays out $210 billion dollars in corporate welfare?
I paid more taxes than General Electric.

How many people did you employ that paid taxes? I willing to wager that you did not employee a fuckign soul. I also willing to wager the taxes you paid on your cigarettes and beer did not add up to the taxes that GE paid. Another wager for you, I bet you benefited much more from the GE taxes paid (helped paid for your obama care, food stamps, and government housing) than the rest of the USA benefited from your luxury taxes on tobacco and alcohol.

This being said, take your liberal bullshit and go back to your projcect home!

Dang dude, chill a little. You are way off, GE paid $0.00 in taxes last year. That's zero, zip, nothing.

Maybe as a corporation, but their employees, which number in the tens of thousands paid plenty. The corporations create the jobs, hire employees, and the employees pay taxes. Also, everything GE bought last year had a sales tax, which they paid. They also pay FICA and FUTA taxes on employees too. People with your mentality, much like Obama, are why companies are moving overseas. I don't expect you to understand, but it can't be explained much clearer. How much did you pay in taxes last year and are you getting a refund? If you paid no taxes or are getting a refund, this disqualifies you from this topic, as you are part of the problem.

I paid my quarterly taxes and it was painful. I am going to try like heck to get as much back as possible even if that makes me part of the problem. Tell me why I should pay more than GE when they made millions in profits.

GE generated more work and paid more workers who paid taxes that generated more tax revenue than your whole family tree. Thus in order to keep their business in their present location where they are producing, they were given a tax break. If the stupid democraps could see past their nose, they would understand that raising taxes would not generate more revenue. So bitch and complain about your pentene that you paid for your taxes as compared to GE, in the end they still paid and produced more taxes than your measly input.

Kinda what I get from this is that you think the small biz should pay taxes to keep them where they are and make it hard to grow. Give big tax breaks to the super powers (GE, WALMART...) so they can get even bigger (because they are helping a lot of people and could help more). I would have rather seen GE pay what the little man has to pay than Zero. I mean $10,000 would not of made them leave would it? You don't see a problem with the way the country is and has been? Do you pay self employment tax? By the way GE made $14.2 Billion in pure PROFITS that they paid no tax on.

Yeah, it's the PROFIT thing that makes all the difference. MCR makes it sound like GE (or any company) lets the 'little man' pay all the taxes and that's the way big business ought to run. Well bullshit! Even after they pay the 'little man' they still chisel out a pretty good living. A WAAAAAAY better than the little man. I say, if a company doesn't want to employ workers in the United States and they take their manufacturing to another country for greater profits, then they should pay a tariff for those goods when they bring them back to America. It's time to get tough on importations.
