go buy a chain saw. cut at bottom on opposite side of the direction you want it to fall. yell timber at point tree starts to fall. make sure your car is not parked near tree. it will be the most fun you have had in life. place ad for free fire wood and they will do the hard part.

Rogers cut a tree and ground the stump for me several years ago. Very professional and careful of my yard. Price way way cheaper than others. Not even sure still owned by same people now, tho. Lady at the time that done the talking for the crew was American Native Indian named Two Two. She said she was the 22nd kid in the family and they had ran out of names when she was born. She was well educated about trees and trimming to control disease. Ask for a couple recent referrals and call and talk. I see them doing a lot of work so my "guess " would be they are still ok. Still get a couple estimates to see that price is not out of line and ask reference from each. No reference, no go. GOOD LUCK.

Make sure you get proof that they are insured and bonded..........you'll find most aren't and one of the names listed above does NOT have insurance.

do not hire either one of the tree service listed at the top of this page. she is a liar, she tells people her partner has some kind of cancer and he doesnt, she plays on sympathy. she lies and cant keep up with the lies. she only has old customers as clients. as for charlie, steer clear of him as well, he is a rip off and will rob you and not finish the job...that goes for both companies. people need to know the truth, that woman will do anything to get you to feel sorry for her.
