As it's clear some Churches openly harangue their members to vote as told they are in violation of the rules that grant them exemption from paying their fair share of taxes. Why should decent people have to pay taxis Churches don't?

Our Founding Fathers were Christian men and yet they understood the importance of separation. Religious states lead to fascism.

As a Christian, I feel separation is important.
I feel this way because religion cannot influence government without government influencing religion. I do not want a state ran church which is whst lies at the end game of the current trend.

In Metropolis it's the Churches that run the town. I don't think that is a good thing. As always, too many cooks spoil the pot.

It is clear that there are many here that think Christian Religion should rule Metropolis. I ask only one thing of you that feel that way. Exactly which Church should be all powerful?

First Baptist is the all powerful church of Metropolis. If they back a candidate 100% then that candidate will get elected. BBQ Billy is a living example of that.

Maybe instead of Christian, I should have said believers.

Point still stands.

So very true Creeper. I'm a Baptist but I respect all Religions but don't think they should impose their wills on others, in other words they should mind their own affairs. As always to be all powerful should be be humble.

This whole things is wrong separation of Church and State was to assure that the government didn't force any religion on the people as in England.
Many think that if you allow prayer in a public place that is a problem. WRONG! The government can't force you to pray in a particular religion...but all have the right to free speech and to pray where and when.

The people that is attempting to change this are those with no moral compass and desire the believe that they will not be accountable to a higher power. Thus, if they destroy the moral fiber of the US constitution and its people so goes the future. We are nearly there.
If a christian raises a hand he is pounded by the liberal left and the professors of the broken education system. Now, let a Islamic Muslim decide to pray to the east outside the class of of univerity or public property it is considered tolerance.

Remember, you reap what you sow! And the US's poor choice of crops are now producing a fouled harvest.

I CARE NOT IF YOU ARE CHRISTIAN, OR OTHER....BUT MANY HAVE DIED FOR YOUR RIGHT TO PRACTICE YOUR RELIGION...AND EVERY RELIGION USE THE SAME GENERAL LOVE AND TOLERANCE FOR OTHERS.

England dumped it's radical trash on this country and as a result Native American's beliefs were destroyed and so called Blue Laws were passed to deprive decent people the right to pleasure. Hawaii was like all the Polynesian islands a paradise until the Cancerous Christian missionaries introduced sin.
