I will not support the union workers this time either, last time they got free insurance from the company for 6 months, they got gas vouchers and food vouchers for help, and then they went to Florida and every where else on vacations? WTF, and they parked their fancy cars and trucks with their boats behind them while they sat at the picket line., your right how can anyone be so greedy? A 2 percent raise each year isnt bad considering how much they make now. At 25.oo an hour that is still 50 cents an hour raise, Maybe they all need a dose of 8.25 an hour for a year or so to realize they do not have it so bad.

Well they are back in the street, waving wanting you, who makes,10.00 a hr, to feel sorry. They are pampered spoiled kids. I hope they don't get c their jobs back. Maybe some one who will bee happy with 30.00a hr will get their job.. they hsve bitched and bitched. Now they want you to feel sorry for them. Not this time.. they were given food, gas, money, and they were asking every one to give to them. Well I hope Honeywell stands strong, and the community sees who the villains really are,

You have a few bad apples that spoil the rest. Honeywell has some good honest, hard working Union members. But they also have some deadbeat, should have been fired years ago failures. If you could fire the Union You owe us crybabies. The people who want to and do work would not have to worry about labor disputes.

Well I don't know much about it but I think raising their insurance $665 bucks a month is crazy at least they pay for their food and gas while a lot of you have a lil help!!!! So maybe they should go to the aid office and get help like some and then go sell it on the streets to make the money they need to pay their bills?? I only make 8.25 a hour but I will drive by and honk and yell and support them because not all of them went beyond their means with big houses and play toys!!!!!!!!

I don't know the rules as it relates to a lock-out but with only 130 people being affected, I would love to see HW scrap the union. They are closer now than ever before to be able to do so. People would relocate from a thousand miles away to live in a small, one stop light, town for a good wage. I would wager anybody that those 130 people would be the first to apply.

This is where unions fail America. What happened to the proud American workforce? Companies can't function with lazy worker who you cant fire.

And for those who feel that HW owes them because you have given them years and years of service, answer this one question; Did they pay you? If its that bad why don't you just Quit?

Look around, this is an Insurance issue, not a company issue. Insurance is "Sky High" everywhere. Ask any retired person who are on 1 or more meds what they are paying to stay alive.

And when this happens don't blame the new hires for taking your job. You said you didn't want it, remember???

Seems many oppose the USW workers at Honeywell. A job that offers decent pay and benefits is hard to find.

Well, I read the contract...the entire contract. Most companies give raises based on your performance review. You want one why? Just because? You are living in a fantasey land and I hope they find a way to break the union and fire all of you.

I promise you 80% of you would have voted for that LAFO..Why? Because it means you have a secure job for the next 4 years....and a paycheck next week. Now because your negotiator did not give you the option of voting for the LAFO, you lost. You should fire him. How dare you play hardball in this economy.

Now go and cry to your mortgage company. Tell them you cant pay your mortgage because your big bad employer that pays you 100k refuses to give you a 5% raise. See if they care.

Now you wanna fight me? Because I speak my mind? I own a business BTW...The real American Dream. And guess what...If someone who works for me is non-productive...I let them go. If you want to keep a job you do it by showing up on time and doing your job. BTW, I have supervised union workers in the past...some of the greatest people I know. It's the assholes who play the system that I don't care for. This union will lose, you can put pressure on a local company with 100 employees, HW has Billions and ego's. That's why the slammed the door on you.....it simply means "Games Over"

What really impresses me is the people on here giving their 2 cents worth have never worked ay Honeywell and have NO idea what is going on inside the plant and at the bargaining table!!! None of the employees are taking a dime out of your pocket trust me they have rules and regulations to go by as employees and if they don't they are walked out the door and the pressure on all of these men and women on a daily basis is something none of you could obviously handle and that's not including the dangers they face every single day they walk in the door!! If any of you were QUALIFIED to be an employee I'd bet my life you wouldn't turn down a job there for the same reason these people who are fighting for their rights to make a decent living for their families are!!!
