Intruders killed by retired chief had unloaded shotgun

Authorities said a former small-town police chief who shot and killed two intruders at his rural home was within his rights to use deadly force even though it turned out they carried an unloaded shotgun.

Unloaded? So what. I'm sure that he was within his rights when these two dirtbags broke into his house and threatened he and his wife's lives!!

I agree with Crime Prevention. I knew one of these scumbags and he stole from me as well. I'm sorry but if I was strangled and had a shot gun (loaded or not) in my face and i knew i had a loaded gun to use i would have used it to kill too.

Taylor is a scumbag I'm his 15 year old grandson and he doesn't even know I exist. He totally abandoned my mom after the marriage he had with my grandma of like 10 years. I don't even know what he looks like. And the stupid part is he lives like 10 minutes away from me.
