National flags in Connersvile...

I just returned from town and feel I must post this! Why are the flags in this town not drawn to half mast? We do this for senators and police officers who lose their lives in the line of duty, but why not all those soldiers who were massacred at Fort Hood? They died in service to their country, by a supposed colleague!Get it together Connersville, show some respect!!!!

It definately should be declared a national tragedy! Those people were just at work...and some crazy fanatic blew them away. What do you all think should the United States military ban all muslims from enlistment? This war is a conflict if interest to them...how many more of our brave military people need to die from friendly fire on their home turf????

There are alot of rules with the American Flag that people don't understand. Flags are suppose to be at half mast right now because of Veterans Day. These soldiers that died fall in this category and the timing is really what has taken away from it. The flag can only be hung at half mast by order of the President or a Govenor. It should be completely lowered and then brought back up to half mast. There are a lot of people who don't know all the rules to displaying the flag and they should really look into it.

including you. it is flown at half staff now because the president declared it due to the killings in tx. veteran's day is wednesday.

the people who do the flag superiority dance are a primary reason more people don't bother to fly a flag. instead of the smug superiority when someone misses a presidential decree, maybe thank someone for flying a flag instead, even if they don't know the entire flag code.
