Now now ladies!! No need to get rude. From what it looks like one of you is from Mesquite and the other from LA??? How about a comment from Seagoville? I don't want to seem like a hypocrit because I do drink from time to time BUT I do know someone from Balch Springs Police dept, yes it helped alot with finances but crime DID go up! I did not want the 2 restaurants in Seagoville that do sell alchohol to get that privilage but they did and I plan on voting against Seaoville going wet. It's not perfect here but we don't need the extra crime. That's one reason they voted against DART coming to Seagoville and that is something that would be very helpful to alot of people out here. I just pray that what's best for Seagoville wins out!!! If the crime rate goes up I would hate to have to move from here after 20 years.

Maybe we should make alcohol illegal and marijuana legal, that way everyone is at peace.

I am from Seagoville, Harold Magill Ciyt Council Place #1, I have voted early and have voted no on going wet.
Some council people can only see the tax revenue as a reason to go wet. Yes all cities could use more revenue but I believe there are other sources to tap besides turning Seagoville into Beer and wine stores.

Re-elect Harold Magill Seagoville City Council Place #1.

a lot of nice places sell beer and wine. plano for one .i lived in a small town , it did not grow . now the town is swrinking. bussiness moved the people moved to find work. you had a long drive to go to the doctors,to go buy food . just think of the money being spent in another town. lets spend money in our town so it will benefit our familys.

Not for or against yet: Someone said look what happened in Duncanville after the selling of beer and wine. Go to Duncanville and look around. It's not like Seagoville. I won't comment any further on that. I think it might have a lot to do with the people who live in a certain area that goes wet. It did not hurt Terrell or Kaufman. They prospered. Quite a bit to consider here.

you don't have to live in an upper scale or lower area to be a victim of alcohol and drunk drivers. alcohol is no good. it never will be. it isn't like you are sitting at home sipping on wine. the ones better off tend to sip whereas the poor tend to gulp.

I actually live in Seagoville and Im going to vote yes to make it wet here. We always have to drive to balch Springs or Kaufman. Seagoville is nice and quiet so I think that even if they'll be wet, it wont be all like the other places and have more crime or whatever. Its not like people here dont drink already. This was it'll just save us a long trip.
