Howdy,

Just got back from a trip out to LV & a one day side trip up to Mesquite to view the new Del Webb Sun City site in Mesquite. Looking for some more info from locals about the Sun City site and the Mesquite area in general. I have a few former co-workers who have retired up in the St. George, UT area & another who lives just south of LV. We liked some of the Sun City homes but it would be a big change for us to relocate from Brooklyn, NY where we have been life long residents. Looking for honest & objective feedback warts and all if any exist out in your fair city.:-)

My husband and I just bought a home there. We are coming from Rhode Island. A big change for sure, but the people who are currently living there are very friendly and we are certainly looking forward to moving to that development. You won't be sorry if you make the move.

I certainly will let you know. We have friends who are living there now, and they LOVE it. The people we have met so far have been great. I will sign in once we get settled to let you know. You should take a trip out again and look things over. Remember - you may not have to ever face another New York winter! That is something we will NEVER miss coming from the Northeast.
