Veterans Day event schedule shifts

At least two public events to commemorate Veterans Day will be conducted on Nov.

Heaven forbid Dolores' mariachi party be interrupted by something such as a parade for our VETERANS! Veterans made it possible to even have Mariachi's in the United States of America!

Fellow Vets, let's not get too bent out of shape here. Playing dress-up and fighting with wooden swords and playing dress-up and playing musical instruments for money is much more important than the sacrifice of life and limb in real battle to protect their freedoms. Draft dodgers and non-compatants are what is in and honored now.
We answered our countries call, so what?

I am a disabled Veteran and I find it very hard to believe that as a city counselor, Ms. Archuleta, can not see the importance of honoring our Veterans as a priority. I am happy to know this as I will do my best at the time of her attempt to be re-elected. I will personally campaign against her. In this city we celebrate the making of an enchilada, but we can not celebrate the freedom and losses in which all veterans have given to our community. Now i know why people call our city, "The City of Lost Causes." I salute all veterans on this day of recgonition and will keep my lights on in hope that all MIA's may find their way home.
