I am on the fence between Sharon Thomas and Jim Harbison in my district, I literally don't know which one to vote for. I favored Harbison first, because of his safety platform, increasing fire coverage and all, but then I saw this silly little protest on Lohman on Saturday against Thomas, something about chickens. It rubbed me the wrong way. I like what Thomas has done with the setbacks on the new road construction, and that she seem to accommodate joggers and bikers on the main arterial roads. Honestly, I probably won't know who I'll pick until I get into the booth.

I love having bike lanes 5-yards from the walking path on Triviz :)

Haribison is trying to make an issue out of the chickens when there is none. Thomas is not for having chickens in her district. It was Small who brought it up so take it out on him.

How about not picking the one who just moved to Las Cruces in 2006 and now wants to run it for us? How could he have any idea of our history and culture when he's lived here a whopping 3 years? Thomas is intelligent, educated, and refuses to let the developers and special interests run amuck here at the expense of the citizens. The PAC that the homebuilders are supporting is special interests all the way.

Can't vote, don't live within the city limits. Doubt it would matter if I did anyway. I see no changes coming from this election, we will see.
So exactly how far do you live from the city limits? Unless you live about 10 or more miles away from the city limits, there's a good chance you'll get annexed in any reasonable expected remaining adult lifetime. If your property gets annexed, you'll find out real quick how much this vote matters.

That is a moot issue - there is no money for bike paths on Roadrunner - pure and simple!

At least we have a choice on the ballot. Why dont more qualified people run for City Council and make a contribution to our community? People that run unopposed really dont have any political capital...or representation. At least these are challenged elections where people actually have to choose who to vote for as opposed to having only one person on the ballot.

No the Tea Bag Canidate was destroyed , Now the only thing I can't figure out is why would the idiots in Virgina throw away thier vote for Gov to send a message to the White House. When we vote next year I could care less whats going on in the White House and going to worry about whats best for our state. Virgina is stupid and has lazy blacks I hope they bring back slavery in that state they deserve what they get.

I guess Locatelli is trying to make up for his screw-ups by meeting quotas as far as people he sentences to jail time. Maybe he should be sentenced to some jail time to so he can get a grip on reality
